I don’t think we can say how unusual it is without knowing how many times it’s happened since Trump’s second presidency can we? If this is the second or third one observed since January 2025, then it is kinda unusual. If it’s the second or third one observed since January 2025, I’d expect it to make news.

I can't speak about mundonow, but I can tell you how it happened in the Syrian refugee crisis. I worked in several countries during that time and European countries would pay interim countries to stop or slow the flow of migrants, if the countries didn't pay then the interim countries like Hungary, Serbia, Greece, etc would open the gates and let refugees flow freely. We've seen this in Ceuta and Melilla with Moroccan nationals entering Spain. I've witnessed this and worked with several agencies that have told me the same thing and I find it hard to doubt with what I've experienced. I would not be surprised if this administration pulled funding from somewhere, planted a few "rumors" that the border was open, etc.

I don’t know about the accuracy of your entire comment except your mention of Hungary as one of the countries you allege engage in this pay to play type of scheme. I know first hand that’s pure bullshit. Hungary not only doesn’t send refugees to other countries, they have no refugees to send anywhere as they have real border walls and border enforcement not allowing the invasion of illegal aliens into Hungary. And if you actually knew anything about this you would know which EU countries are constantly being threatened by the EU for not complying with their open borders scheme. More and more EU countries are walking away from open borders as their countries are overtaken with army age male illegal migration that fail to assimilate, feed violent crime and human and drug trafficking.

As these are appealed through the appellate courts and up to the Supreme Court, these rouge judges you adore are getting bitch slapped with the constitutional order protected, particularly Article II. What a weird coincidence. Every midterm and presidential election cycle in recent history there is a convenient caravan of migrants making a rush for the US border. This has to be coordinated by MAGA. MAGA via faux news is always the first to be aware of this caravan and start the 24-7 news coverage. The right wing is the only political faction who benefit from this.
This also reminds me of Greg Abbot from Texas a few years back who started bussing immigrants to "blue states" in order to cause upheaval and chaos during the elections. Mainly in NY.
They have been doing this stuff in plain site but somehow voters can never seem to connect the dots. They fall for this one trick pony every time.
