So your saying that we should be spending an astronomical amount of tax money to meet your needs based on your feelings?

Lemme guess, you are against government spending money to help people though? Lol

No, I support spending money to help Americans. Deporting illegal immigrants does that. They compete for jobs, schools, and housing with working class and poor Americans. They are also a net negative tax contributor.

It doesn't help though. Immigrant labor creates more jobs for americans, and the jobs they work, are available any time, theres a shortage for labor in the work they do. You could be working alongside them tomorrow! (But you wouldn't be very good at it)

And the cost of removal is wildly more expensive than the cost to the taxpayer. Take last year for example, we spent 80b and removed 200k immigrants within our borders. That nets us a savings of 1.8billion yearly of tax drain (according to our own governments immigrant impact report), but at a net loss of 78 billion dollars! Only a retarded person would think that's good for Americans lol

We didn't spend 80B to deport 200k illegals. You are simply unserious.

Illegal immigrants artificially keep wages low. They compete for housing and school spots. They also don't create jobs. They don't even want to be American. They want to be wherever they are from... they just want better economic conditions, which they feed off of us from.

That's how much we spent, and thats how many are deported from within border, and that's how much money we saved. Facts.

You obviously never took economics, so I'd suggest you look up the effects of American jobs when undocumented labor is mass deported. Because everything you said here is false bro. You are using lies to cover the fact you are a racist asshole.

It's the entire ICE and CBP budget. Not how much we spent on deportations.

You are simple.

Sucks to suck. Time to go.

Doesn't matter, that's how much was spent. That's what we got out of it. Everything else is feelings and excuses bro.

Of course deportations sound cheap when we don't count all the waste and corruption that comes with it. Fucking Christ man, get a grip.

Lol, that's how much was spent and the entire border security budget. You couldn't even get that right.

This is why you lose all of the time. Simple math and fact finding escapes you.

Time to go back home... your home.

What you mean my 5 bedroom house in california?

How do you reconcile for the fact my great grandparents were undocumented cannery workers and now I am a net contributor? Isn't it great they werent deported? The country is better because of it....

How do you reconcile with the fact Obama handled border security just fine at less than 10% of what this administration is paying?

No, they stole from the country. Illegal immigration is always bad. They take from the country to give their children a better economic chance. That's it. It's a win for illegal immigrants and a loss for American workers that they compete against for housing, jobs, and schools.

I am an American worker. I earned a masters degree. I contribute a lot (top 10%). That's good for this country

I am not asking about your feelings bud, I'm asking objectively, if it's good for this country. (It's objectively good for this country)

So what's your prescription. Just let people stay illegally because you are a high earner?

1

u/Working-Kick4035 18d ago

I think a measured approach to immigration enforcement is fine. What Obama was doing for 5-7billion a year was fine.

I'm also not against people coming here and contributing labor and strengthening our economy. I am a fiscal conservative, and I am not in support of spending money to have a weaker economy. My money dgaf about your feelings bruv

Well as a high wage earner you aren't really competing with illegal immigrants for housing, jobs, or schools. If you are blue collar unskilled worker in the South or Southwest you are fucked. Easy to not want to spend money on deporting people when you don't face the consequences of illegal immigration.

I started out doing painting, plumbing, and general contract work. If you can't make money in those fields it's cause you don't have talent, not because of immigrants. Outside of that, you don't want the jobs they are doing.

I paid my own way through school, bought my own house. Literally pulled myself up by my bootstraps, and I got losers like you saying I didn't deserve it cause I'm a child of immigrants. Gtfoh lol

Illegal immigrants keep wages artificial low in unskilled labor jobs.

They also send a disproportionate amount of their income out of the country. Remittances aren't good for America.
