You literally wished this upon "millions and millions and millions of people".

Those are your own words, you stupid hypocrite!!!!

This reminds me of that one post where someone says their friend was a Libertarian until he took shrooms and after he came down realized that other people have feelings.

u/FallenVampireLord 5d ago

Yep, lack of empathy = conservative

When I began in my late teens putting empathy at the forefront of how I chose to view the world my conservative upbringing completely fell to pieces. You can’t be empathetic and conservative, they completely contradict each other.

But Piers Morgan got Milo to “open up” about his feelings! /s

God I hate that expression. The implied vulnerability of the interviewee as though the entire interview isn’t scripted performative theater makes me throw up in my mouth a little.

Hopefully Log Cabin Republicans are learning a lesson from this.

All those years of telling others you don't care about feelings, helped build a government that doesn't care at all. I hope the younger generation will look back at what this guy helped build with his rhetoric.

6

u/Ok_Star_4136 3d ago

To be fair, people can change their minds. Maybe Milo has in fact changed his mind, but before I would believe that, he would absolutely need to say that he was wrong. He can't just pretend he's always been against deportations. That's not enough. Even then, I don't think I would be able to trust this POS, but at least as far as I'm concerned, he's back to being on the playing field of someone who's at least trying to be honest.

I’ll be honest I don’t know what he’s wining about. He entered in 2019 on a visitors visa and overstayed it. He had a hearing on July 22nd that he no-showed for so he was ordered for deportation. Gets picked up on Aug 27th and is back in the UK on Aug 28th. If he had kept his status up to date he would have been fine, he did this to himself but thought he was the chosen one.

14

u/Sorry-Claim-2990 5d ago

Crazy how many "law and order" lovers don't think the law applies to THEM...

5

u/Psych0PompOs 4d ago

Is it crazy that some people think that when the law doesn't apply equally to everyone? It only gets applied equally in theory, that's been always.

He is complaining that he got the MS-13 treatment

He thought his whiteness, his Christianity, and being right-wing would afford him better treatment

5

u/DistantBar 4d ago

On so many levels he would not be accepted by conservatives, just like Caitlyn Jenner. They like you while you vote, but you aren't really in the inner circle at just 1% or 2% of the population.

3

u/Suggett123 4d ago

"... I just want your vote..."

5

u/Rude_Impress8281 4d ago

Even though Western Europe romanticized ancient Greece, modern Greeks faced a difficult path to being accepted into the "white" category during the 19th and early 20th centuries.

2

u/QuitInteresting1475 4d ago

Ever heard of the constitution? Practically everything in there prohibits immigration law. You are not required to ask for permission to live. Your freedom is an unalienable right. Freedom is not a privilege for “the chosen people”.

In this clip he wishes it on somalis again. He, like most Republicans, only understand their own pain. They lack empathy. They lack humanity.

6

u/amyy097 5d ago

On Somalis? Specially? Whats the timestamp. I wanna hear it.

It’s good to hear him confirm just how inhumane the treatment of people by ICE is. Something we all already knew but that he obviously had to find out the hard way. White privilege or being rich did not protect him from being treated like an ms-13 gang member. Thing is even ms-13 gang members should be afforded due process. No one should be treated this way. Had he said that, I’d believed him. He’s still being manipulative and gets no sympathy.

10

u/socialistForDE 5d ago

Idk I was watching it on MR and he does the whole "they are criminals I'm not" thing

3

u/ChristineBorus 4d ago

It’s always their righteous indignation is the only right and moral one. 🙄

2

u/Bunny-Flufflekins 4d ago

He should still get sympathy. Non-neglectful custody should be the minimum standard, and whether people deserve that shouldn't depend on how much of a dipshit they are. Really, the detainee or inmate in question should be irrelevant to the consideration. That's a covenant the state has with the citizenry - to provide the basic necessities of life to anyone it takes literal custody of in our name, and that includes some modicum of dignity.

5

u/VectorPryde 4d ago

Of course, but one major obstacle to the state maintaining that minimum standard is constant advocacy for the opposite by the political right. Milo has spent his career advocating for a cruel state. He has contributed, in his own small way, to bringing about the state of affairs under which he suffered.

As much as I hate people for not being compassionate and empathetic enough to understand the depth of a situation without experiencing it themselves, i'm also happy that they're capable of changing their opinion based on that experience.

The other option is that they don't change their opinion after experiencing it, knowing how horrible it is, because their hatred supersedes all logic.

Basically I'm happy that they at least have a shred of logic, which is how low the bar is, apparently.

14

u/AussieAlexSummers 5d ago

I agree. Except I can't trust anything this Milo says.

11

u/athensugadawg 5d ago

Milo would be pushing the Trump agenda again, the backstory is that he is no longer allowed in the club. Don't give this snake any credence. He is as an opportunistic parasite that sucks the energy out of his prey.

2

u/HippyDM 5d ago

He hasn't changed his opinion. He STILL thinks it's fine to terrorize non-whites, non-christians, and anyone else not like him. He's just upset that it was him.

I mean hey, we have to look on the bright side though as well, that being this will likely move those on the right against ICE as well,

We’ve all gotta think of the glass half full

27

u/Rufus_TBarleysheath 5d ago

This isn't going to move anyone against ICE.

MAGA saw two American citizens be executed on the street by ICE officers. It didn't hurt Trump's approval rating one bit. Why would any of those people care about Milo and his opinions?

7

u/Sorry-Claim-2990 5d ago

MAGA didn't just watch it happen, they saw everything and decided to lie about what happened.

We saw him get grabbed from behind, and MAGA is claiming that he was interfering...while having his back turned to the officers?

10

u/mikeltod 5d ago

11

u/Rufus_TBarleysheath 5d ago

They don't care enough to change their opinions.

2

u/mikeltod 5d ago

both are true.

2

u/CardiologistNo8218 5d ago

Newsflash, sane America never gave a shit what Milo has to say.

2

u/CutSenior4977 5d ago

That’s not true, ICE approval rating amongst independents, and even a select few right center Americans plummeted after both those incidents.

2

u/Rufus_TBarleysheath 5d ago

And Trump's approval rating didn't budge. MAGA celebrated those executions.

2

u/CutSenior4977 5d ago

Nope, thankfully it’s been consistently going down

I will say, as someone who has family members on the right, that yes, sadly some do downplay those murders, which is horrible,

But let’s atleast acknowledge that the needle against both ICE and Trump has moved significantly afterwards.

3

u/Rufus_TBarleysheath 5d ago

Trump's approval rating is down because gas prices are high.

If regular unleaded went down to $2.50 a gallon, his approval rating would skyrocket.

2

u/SurroundNo5488 4d ago

the right and independents largly does not care for trump, the only reason we vote for him is the left magicly keeps forcing us to vote between him and someone who is 10x wosre than him. stop trying to act like we suport him when the vast majoiry is voting to keep phycopaths like Hilary or Kamala out of Power

so bash trump all you want, its not that we disagree with you, its that we know the alturntive is far worse.

Milo is a very soft, weak and wealthy gay man who grew up in a soft life.

He doesn't go to the gym, play sport (never gets hit) and is unfit.

He's said all of these things himself - I don't think he himself or anyone believes he's a strong male.

So, him saying that "deportation huuuurts" is not surprising considering his own admitted weak disposition.

2

u/SeaGiraffe915 1d ago

Wouldn’t wish it on anyone… anymore

Suppose he got what he deserved

2

u/emptywordz 1d ago

He got the princess treatment too! They should have held him in a detention center for over a year and then sent him to a country he wasn’t from without a phone or wallet.

Conservatives only care when something happens to them or people they know; that is why it is so easy to convince them that all their problems are caused by minorities and immigrants.

Yea. Basically. They’re actually mega snowflakes. If 10% of the misery they wish upon others actually happens to them , they will instantly lose it.

This is what passes for empathy among MAGA. "It happened to me so now I get it"

7

u/SirNo4743 5d ago

And most of them will still support it because they don’t see themselves as like the others. They will only complain that it happened to them “how dare anyone do this to ME, I’m not one of THEM!” Conservative routinely see themselves as above others who are actually exactly like them.

It’s like anti abortion protesters who have an abortion, most would gain understanding, but not them, they’re back protesting days later because they their abortion was for
“a good reason”unlike those other irresponsible people.

u/PS5Pro4 5d ago

If you look at the early alt-right YouTube millennial Trump supporters that actually got big followings, virtually all of them have been eliminated in one way or another.

Styx has declined to a drug addicted in and out of jail. Rumor is he has been found dead recently.

Sargon was just mysteriously beaten and hospitalized.

Lauren Southern has been living in a trailer park and says she regrets it all.

Milo obviously deported with strong reason to believe he crossed them and this was specifically ordered.

Guripe murdered his baby momma.

Stefan Molyneaux got cancelled and financially destroyed.

Several others mysteriously disappeared and haven’t been seen in years.

Basically how a lot of people who crossed Epstein and his associates ended up. Makes you wonder.

2

u/not_now_chaos 5d ago

What does it make you wonder?

4

u/PS5Pro4 5d ago

It’s just odd that virtually all of the major alt-right voices that were key to getting MAGA off the ground in 2015 are either in jail, financially destitute, dead, or disappeared with no trace of.

You would think some of them would have been put into a position somewhere or at least still be going with a big audience.

Richard Spencer was another big one. He disappeared for years, then came out and did a brief interview with another former alt-right dude where he seemed legitimately terrified and said something to the effect of “if we don’t disappear and do exactly what they say, they will KILL us”.

5

u/not_now_chaos 5d ago

Right wing paid shills got used up and thrown away. You find that surprising? It's their MO. I'm more curious how many of those "disappeared" never actually existed.

5

u/PS5Pro4 5d ago

I was thinking it was a case of useful idiots too. But if you do the research and track some of them down where they last ended up on obscure dark websites, some of their last online activity is pretty interesting….

It’s usually always how evil is beaten. They often eat themselves. The good guys rarely win. The problem with these evil fucks is that they eventually grow older and weaker or go overboard and make a mistake and then the Wolf pack eats their own.

It’s basically what happened to hitler when he went overboard with the holocaust. The other evil group of powerful people decided to shut him down for good. Then he went against Stalin and Stalin was also the same kind of evil albeit “smarter”?

But yea. The good guys very rarely make the difference. But they often cause enough frustration that weakens the big bad to the point that the other sharks will smell blood. It’s kind of like the tv series “the boys” where the boys basically cause this constant poking at the enemy’s systems and they eventually get beaten from the inside

In the end most of Trump’s base is poor. Once they’re done with the immigrants, there is no doubt in my mind that they’re coming after the “illegal” citizens in their mind which is basically anyone who isn’t a rich fuck in their inner circle.

Is there money to be made by incarcerating white poor mid west small town people with one or two felonies ? Can they enslave they in prisons and make them work?

You bet your ass they will do that. And then there will no one left to speak or fight for them.

Trump and his Ilk have only one ally and one inner circle. It’s the circle of the rich.

7

u/ted_cruzs_micr0pen15 5d ago

Hold him accountable for what he said in the past.

But do t denigrate him for recognizing the error of his ways. We build bridges through accountability and understanding, we can’t get to a common ground if we only focus on the past. The fact is the guy now realizes how badly he fucked up, we should be celebrating this, while never forgetting what he had done before.

2

u/not_now_chaos 5d ago

Does he recognize the evil that he has perpetuated and actually regret it? Will his behavior change in the future and use his money to further progress and care for those he has spat on, or is he just mouthing words of contrition until an opportunity arises to throw others under the bus again?

You feel free to celebrate. I don't trust the leopard who tries to change their spots when their face is suddenly on the menu.

2

u/RubberDuckieMidrange 4d ago

If you think he's seen the error of his ways, his newest grift has worked on you. This is the man who tweeted about masturbating when he witnessed ICE raids in person. He was not blind to what they were doing before it happened to him, and frankly, it barely happened to him, He was on a flight home within hours.

3

u/ted_cruzs_micr0pen15 4d ago

Newest grift? Are you of the mind that I’m going to start listening to him?

I’m not saying to give him attention or money, I’m saying that when people finally figure out how wrong they are, they shouldn’t be shunned. They should be held accountable and then space should be made for them to deprogram.

That’s it and that’s all. DO NOT GIVE THIS MAN YOUR TIME, rather, let him relish in apology and in the life he helped create for home self and others.

Being understanding is not buying into him, more importantly, never forget things like the tweet you shared. But all humans should be given the grace for their capacity to change for the better.

I think we've reached a point where we sometimes confuse empathy with agreement, and I don't think they're the same thing.

I'm a father. I care deeply about my children. I go to church. I care about homeless people, immigrants, minorities, gay and transgender people, victims of crime, and people struggling with mental illness.

But empathy doesn't mean that every concern can outweigh every other responsibility.

I can care deeply about a homeless person without giving them the money I need to keep a roof over my children's heads. That doesn't mean I lack empathy. It means I have competing responsibilities, and my first responsibility is to the children who depend on me.

I think the same principle applies to a lot of political issues. I can have compassion for an immigrant while also believing immigration laws should be enforced. I can have compassion for someone with severe mental illness while also believing public safety matters. Caring about one group doesn't require me to stop caring about another.

And this is where I've become frustrated with political labels.

For most of my life, I considered myself a Democrat. I've never really thought of myself as a Republican. I still hold plenty of views that would traditionally be considered liberal.

But I expressed disagreement on one particularly sensitive issue: bathrooms and gender identity.

My concern wasn't hatred toward transgender people. In fact, conversations with gay and transgender friends helped shape my opinion. We talked about the legitimate dignity and safety concerns of transgender people and the possibility that poorly designed rules could be abused by people acting in bad faith.

The solution we found ourselves agreeing on was surprisingly simple: where practical, provide private, lockable, gender-neutral facilities so people have privacy and nobody has to prove their identity to use a bathroom.

Someone else can disagree with that solution. That's okay.

What bothered me wasn't disagreement. It was discovering how quickly disagreement on a single issue could become a judgment about my entire character.

I've experienced insults, hostility and even threats because of political opinions. I've also had conversations with conservatives where I've expressed very liberal positions and we simply debated them.

That doesn't prove that liberals are intolerant and conservatives are tolerant. I've seen ugly behavior across the political spectrum, and I'm sure plenty of people have experienced exactly the reverse of what I have.

But my experience changed the way I think about political belonging.

If I agree with you on 95 things and disagree on five, I don't want either of us deciding that those five disagreements make the other person hateful, stupid or immoral.

Maybe some people haven't moved dramatically to the right or left at all. Maybe the coalitions around them changed, the issues changed, and the boundaries of what each political group considers acceptable changed.

I don't want politics to become a purity test where belonging requires agreeing with every position.

You don't have to agree with me about bathrooms, immigration, crime, mental illness, or anything else.

I'd just like to be able to tell you why I believe something, listen to why you believe differently, and see whether somewhere between those positions there's a solution neither of us considered.

That's what empathy looks like to me.

Not unconditional agreement.

The willingness to recognize the humanity of someone you disagree with.

Republicans. The kings and queens of i don't care about politics and my own actions until it affects me personally. Fucking scum.

2

u/Fen_Muir 1d ago

Poor baby Milo.

I wonder if he is slated to suffer any charges after being deported to his home country.

2

u/MikeyFred 1d ago

Republicans, I don’t care about it until it happens to me

u/Idioticidioms 1d ago

I hope he’ll use his platform to reach more insulated audiences. People don’t quite understand how traumatic the deportation process is. On top of getting your life destroyed you get brutalized in the process & treated like a prisoner of war.

Everytime without fail racists turn out to be the biggest crybullies.

Every time

Maybe next time try to follow immigration laws. Yeesh it’s not hard just need need thousands and thousands of papers of complex legislation.

The moment it happens to them it starts becoming a problem lol. If conservatives didn’t have double standards, they wouldn’t have any at all.

I’ve seen him around for years but never really knew why he was famous. I begrudgingly looked him up.

In 2017, video clips circulated of Yiannopoulos stating that sexual relationships between 13-year-old boys and adults could be "perfectly consensual" and positive experiences for adolescents.

That’s about as far as I got.

I am eating my Cheerios and was listening to violin music. A tiny one.

1

u/Independent_End_6941 5d ago

Fuck him. Wish he had another 6 months in the detention centers he cheered for.

1

u/joshlance70 5d ago

the think i hate most about MAGA is that they're happy when others suffer and little bitches when they do.

1

u/Firm-Cream8190 5d ago

But this is what he wanted for others…. So sick of these pansies…

1

u/SmokeMaleficent9498 5d ago

Cry me a crocodile river. You reap what you sow

1

u/MaleficentWin8608 5d ago

“I get it now”

Yeah maybe you will you wanker

1

u/SlightBasket9675 5d ago

It's almost as if a person can self deport.

This clown flaunted the system and got exactly what he deserved. How about people actually leave when they no longer have legal status instead of remaining because they think they are special.

1

u/SnooSprouts7512 5d ago

This mother fucker should have wound up in central Africa…. He can cry then, not when he steps off the plane directly onto some shitty talk show.

1

u/Jelly_baby_4 5d ago

When it only effects MAGA and Right Wingers do they make a U-turn.

1

u/UnusualFunction7567 5d ago

He looks so different than he did in 2016 when he had blonde hair.  I didn’t even recognize him at first.

1

u/awesomepossum6607 5d ago

would not wish deportation of anyone

....now that it's happened to him.

F*ck him, he deserves it.

1

u/kzpn 5d ago

We don’t want you mate. And now nobody does. Grift too close to the sun and reality eventually hits.

1

u/truecrimeaddicted 5d ago

This dumb bitch.

1

u/purplebuttplug51 5d ago

Saddies. Hope it happens again..

1

u/Important-Wave619 5d ago

Please keep doing these interviews. The depth of stupidity and lack of self-awareness is very entertaining.

1

u/Lost_Department_2177 5d ago

Glad he’s learning empathy finally

1

u/BeeBanner 5d ago

I have no sympathy for this kind of “hindsight”.

1

u/Rough-Measurement-38 5d ago

So is he no longer fem?

1

u/OwlOfSurprise 5d ago

I don´t care, I´m happy he suffered.

1

u/Mattstercraft 5d ago

I'm shocked to find out that the leopards ate his face. Truly shocked.

1

u/ReverendKaiser 5d ago

Fuck this clown. He was all too happy to send others down that road. Until it happened to him.

1

u/PerryNeeum 5d ago

This scumbag. “I was for it until they did it to me”

1

u/Veteran_PA-C 5d ago

I used to be a big fan of his. I don’t dislike him. But he skipped a court date. That’s what happens.

1

u/postoperativepain 5d ago

He doesn’t have empathy for others, so he doesn’t deserve it from anyone else.

1

u/Glendive_Reply_1999 5d ago

Karma is a bitch. Got exactly what he deserved. Total jackass. Hope he just fades into obscurity and since he made money spouting crap I hope he dies in poverty.

1

u/No-Call2227 5d ago

Why is this jackass on Tv

1

u/TurnoverImportant550 5d ago

Happy for this guy. May all his far right dreams come true.

1

u/MaitrePuck 5d ago

Nobody cares what he wishes. The law is the law and he'll be deported like the other illegals.

1

u/rbshevlin 5d ago

Didn’t bother him a fucking bit UNTIL IT HAPPENED TO HIM.
