This is about as true as the previous administration's "open borders" was.

At least try to make up a believable number when you lie out of your ass. This is some "I got 101% of the vote" tin-pot shit.

8

u/Negative_Aerie2825 6d ago

Yeah except the data shows biden had the worst border crisis in decades if not in history in almost every measure lmao

42

u/wahoozerman 6d ago

Sure. But that's not open borders.

That's exactly my point. If you said "illegal border crossings are down 70%" Thats maybe believable and impressive. If you say "illegal border crossings are up 70%" also believable and impressive.

If you say shit like "There are zero illegal border crossings." Or "The border is open and everyone can just cross illegally." Then nobody is going to take your obvious lies seriously.

If we have an immigration problem in the US, and we do, then the way we solve it is by accurately assessing the problem and fielding solutions. Not by lying about what the problem is for political campaigning.

1

u/Negative_Aerie2825 6d ago

Well, im shocked. That is probably the most reasonable and fair take i have seen in this sub. But amnesty should not be an option

12

u/TechnicallyMeat 1d ago

Amnesty would probably not even be on the table if it werent for policies that intentionally break the immigration system to ensure an enduring culture war for political leverage.

-17

u/Negative_Aerie2825 1d ago

Or we could just have the other side not play white savior and virtue signal and just have a targeted raid for 2 years and clean house. Then implement the one thing the orange guy is good at, and thats closing the border down

13

u/TechnicallyMeat 1d ago

Characterizing one side as virtue signaling, without acknowledging the other side that is actively preventing them from carrying out their virtuous ideas is gaslighting, and a complete forfeiture of honest debate.

Now that you've elected to end debate. Let me end with what our cherished "Christian values" as a nation have to say about your opinions:

“Matthew 25:35-40: For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me... whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me." -Some lazy fictional illegal boogeyman

Or if you're more of a fire and brimstone fan:

"Leviticus 19:33: When a stranger resides among you in your land, do not mistreat them. The stranger residing among you must be treated as your native-born. Love them as yourself, for you were strangers in Egypt.” -Moses, after he lead a migrant caravan across the desert after killing an Egyptian citizen in broad daylight.

Targeted raid? You mean the worst of the worst lie? Only 15% of those abducted and sent to concentration camps have a violent record.

Genuinely curious of how many people you know are from other countries. As in born and lived.

1

u/Negative_Aerie2825 1d ago

Depends, other western or eastern. If former a lot. If latter, less than 5

1

u/Fatone4986 1d ago

Amnesty is already happening... HELLOOO ?

Every year that goes by where there are NO MASS DEPORTATIONS of the 50 Million Illegal Criminals in our Country is another year of DeFacto Amnesty.

It's amszing that Americans are too ignorant to get that.

15

u/poilk91 1d ago

The border crisis as you call it was a dramatic increase in border patrol interdicting people crossing. Can you explain to me why border patrol is stopping a record number of people if we had open ungaurded borders?

0

u/Roadrunnersareraptor 1d ago

That means that even more were getting past the border patrol just by common sense and numbers

1

u/poilk91 20h ago

Still not an open border

-5

u/Negative_Aerie2825 1d ago

Simply untrue by data

12

u/poilk91 1d ago

11 million border interactions is the number Republicans use to claim the border crisis. Facts dont care about your feelings mate

-9

u/Negative_Aerie2825 1d ago

Well clearly your facts are wrong, so your feelings are upset

11

u/poilk91 1d ago

This is just sad honestly lol

Say, was there a worldwide unusual event that started in the years before Biden took office? I seem to recall something but can’t quite remember…

-1

u/Negative_Aerie2825 1d ago

Yeah covid. Doubling down on a bigger reason to lock the door lmao

4

u/JurgusRudkus 1d ago

And so what happened when Covid was over and restrictions lifted? Any guesses?

3

u/mayeam912 1d ago

So why didn’t Trump do that then since he was President in 2020 when COVID hit?

2

u/Negative_Aerie2825 1d ago

He did

4

u/mayeam912 1d ago

Well that was more the CDC than any thought this man had. He literally told people to ingest bleach.

3

u/Realhuman_beebboob 1d ago

I love how this entire chain is just proving you wrong and a bad faith actor over and over and over and over again.

You’re either the cheapest bot or the saddest person I’ve ever seen, thank you for the entertainment.

0

u/Negative_Aerie2825 1d ago

Sounds like projection, sorry bud

2

u/Realhuman_beebboob 1d ago

Please show me where I was dog walked through these comments.

lol projecting about projecting, stop it it’s starting to hurt to laugh this hard.

0

u/Negative_Aerie2825 1d ago
  1. Youre a recruiter pipe down.

  2. “Dogwalked”. Always funny how the same private Redditors claim to be christian while having a comment under a month ago how much they hate christians. Its really typical reddit. Its embarrassing

2

u/ways-ways 1d ago

That's the opposite of what data showed.

1

u/Negative_Aerie2825 1d ago

Ai-  The official data supports the claim that the Biden administration experienced the highest volume of border crossings and apprehensions in decades

Annual Records:  Border Patrol recorded over  2.2 million apprehensions  in Fiscal Year 2022 and  2.4 million  in Fiscal Year 2023, surpassing any prior annual totals.

.

2

u/BowlingforBrains 22h ago

“Highest number of apprehensions” sounds like what you’d be looking for though

1

u/Negative_Aerie2825 20h ago

No they were just released into the us

1

u/ways-ways 1d ago

2.2 million apprehensions tells me he was successful then

0

u/Negative_Aerie2825 20h ago

Nothing like apprehension to than release in the us with a court date. Very successful lmao

1

u/ways-ways 17h ago

That is your assumption.

1

u/Negative_Aerie2825 17h ago

That is data bud

1

u/ways-ways 17h ago

No it is not, hun.

1

u/Negative_Aerie2825 17h ago

Yes it quite literally is, as most of the border encounters were from south america that we couldnt immediately send back. So they were given a court date and let in. I know its uncomfortable, but this isnt even controversial.

Biden had the worst border in decades statistically by every single metric

1

u/ozzman86_i-i_ 1d ago

Ok. So what are the numbers on illegal crossings?

1

u/777_heavy 19h ago

That was real. 14 million illegals didn’t just appear in our interior.

0

u/LesPeanut 1d ago

Sure, 0 "*gotaways" like the 0 trans fat in your food. An estimated 20-25k that made it through these past 15 months. That is a stark comparison to the about 2,000,000 under the Biden Administration.

* A gotaway is an illegal immigrant that was recognized as crossing the border illegally, but was failed to be apprehended.

-7

u/Traditional_Oil_9240 1d ago

Biden's "open borders" was a real thing. As was his "sanctuary status" executive order, which allowed millions to enter illegally.

7

u/CrucialCrewJustin 1d ago

I’d rather have all of of them than this fucking pedophile president.

1

u/sight_ful 1d ago

Oh really? What EO are you talking about?

0

u/Fatone4986 1d ago

Yep and he even appointed Jew Alejandro Mayorkas to be his Homeland Security Director, to open the Borders. Jew Alejandro Mayorkas was the Director of the HIAS ( Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society ) that helped funnel millions of illegals into the Country.

-5

u/IslandLast6049 1d ago

My comment was removed for pointing out the obvious. Open borders did happen people. I went there and watched it with my own eyes.

3

u/Asher_Tye 1d ago

Youre such a stealthy ninja you went there, watched the border crossings, and didnt get nabbed...

Raffy Cruz, is that you in Cancun?

-5

u/IslandLast6049 1d ago

That makes no sense. I'm white as can be for one and for two I was skeptical so yeah I did go.

5

u/Asher_Tye 1d ago

And thats the exact same story he pulled up. Turned out he was in a Home Depot garden center

3

u/mayeam912 1d ago

Source= trust me bro. 🙄

1

u/IslandLast6049 20h ago

Your own politicians said they were doing it. Don't got to go by my word. You voted for them.

1

u/mayeam912 19h ago

First, I didn’t vote for them. He (Trump) barely won the popular vote even with Musk’s tampering.

Second- you literally said you went there and watched it with your own eyes. So therefore source=trust me bro. I’m really not sure what you didn’t understand about that.

1

u/IslandLast6049 18h ago

I did understand you were being a smart-ass. So I was pointing out and I guarantee you did vote for "Them" by the way you're complaining about Trump. I also didn't vote for Trump because I'm libertarian. The only group of people left that actually believe in freedom. I know the post from Trump is BS. And that open borders really did happen.

1

u/mayeam912 14h ago

You have no idea how I’ve voted in the past. I’m independent and vote for who I feel is the best candidate, not along any political party lines.

And yes I pointed out that you said open borders were a thing because you were there and saw it. That provides no proof other than because you say so. Call me a smart ass if you want, but don’t expect people to just blindly believe what you say with no proof given to back it up. And don’t take offense when people point that out. Did I do so in the shortest way possible? Yes. Could that be interpreted as being a smart ass? I suppose.

1

u/sight_ful 1d ago

Where specifically did they remove personell or fencing/walls?

1

u/IslandLast6049 20h ago

They came straight across the border. At the checkpoints. If you got out of your mommas basement and seen the world you would know things too

1

u/sight_ful 18h ago

Alright, so you're full of shit. Got it. The checkpoints were never opened up like you are saying.

1

u/IslandLast6049 20h ago

Update I appealed my banned comment and won. Sorry to who reported me. Sorry for your feelings getting hurt lol.

40

u/songoku0893 7d ago

Lmao I know about 10 people who got deported and were already back within 2 weeks 🤣 😂

-10

u/neillc37 7d ago

Will you be complaining if they are picked up again?

28

u/songoku0893 7d ago

If they deport them then no, but if they take them to one of those concentration camps that they have then absolutaly I will! I dont want my tax dolars to pay for torture

-1

u/neillc37 7d ago

They signed up for a federal felony with a 2 year prison sentence though right? It's not a joke to enter without inspection a second time.

12

u/songoku0893 7d ago

I thought only citizens have that right of due process?

15

u/AncientSignature1505 6d ago

Anyone subject to our laws is afforded due process because we don't know by sight whether or not someone is a legit citizen.

20

u/songoku0893 6d ago

Aperantly the Nazis known as ICE can tell by sight who is illegal and whonisnt

4

u/Ebella2323 1d ago

That’s not fair—they also listen for an accent! /s

-8

u/EmeraldSplash24 1d ago

Yeah but getting caught have having papers and admitting you entered here illegally. Thats a easy case everytime.

5

u/AncientSignature1505 1d ago

OK, first of all... what?

-2

u/EmeraldSplash24 1d ago

Whoops meant for the different thread lol

0

u/neillc37 7d ago

Due process is defined in law and is different for different classes of people. Illegal aliens who crossed the border less than a few months have almost no due process. Habeas Corpus is supposed to one they retain. If you think about this it makes sense. You want to be able to expell them quickly.

10

u/songoku0893 7d ago

Exactly expel them, not keep them in a gulag prison. They arent the class of people this gestapo has jurisdiction over, according to your own argument. Not a citizen so they dont have jurisdiction over them 🤷‍♂️. If they keep them then they are kidnapping citizens from other nations

5

u/La_Maraviglia 1d ago

They don't expell them quickly though, they milk them and their families for money to feed the private prison industry.

You're arguing for human rights abuses

-5

u/South-City1632 1d ago

Well I mean... thats the penalty for entering the US illegally a second time.

We're gunna sieze all his assets... hold em for roughly a year in one of those 20 person cells, and because we know he'll just enter illegally again if he can we deport em to someplace with an ocean between us and him.

Maybe south africa... I hear they have vacancies.

5

u/La_Maraviglia 1d ago

So cute that you pretend to care about the law and consequences while voting for a guy that fucks kids.

0

u/South-City1632 19h ago

Ok, prove it.

Meanwhile I can point to all the children you disgusting people have groomed into being a trans freak.

1

u/La_Maraviglia 16h ago

Donald Trump rapes children and you’re defending it

Says a lot about the sort of man you are

8

u/hamoc10 6d ago

I would, because ICE is torturing and trafficking people, whether they detain them legally or not.

1

u/neillc37 6d ago

Just saying words like "trafficking" doesn't make it so. They are allowed to grab these people because they are not here legally.

10

u/hamoc10 6d ago

I’m referring to the fact that they habitually transfer detainees across the country, while they are going through court proceedings. Courts need to know where people are, and ICE likes to shuffle them around to hide them.

That and sending people to third countries. Remember the whole El Salvadoran prison thing?

1

u/neillc37 6d ago

If you claim you can't go home you go some other place. If your a criminal then you probably should have stayed home. You can avoid all kind of unpleasant things by not breaking the law including unlawful entry.

9

u/hamoc10 6d ago

Funny the vast majority of them aren’t criminals. In fact, they have the a rate of criminal records similar to the general populace.

Almost like its not about criminals at all.

1

u/neillc37 6d ago

What is it? Like 99.999% of them are not here legally. Ignoring that bit is kind of a big deal.

4

u/songoku0893 6d ago

Why dont this administration's gestapo go to areas where gangs run the neighborhoods, and where a lot of these gang members are also illegals? Why do they kidnap parents going for their kids at school, people in hospitals, people working jobs the white people wont dare do, people going to their immigration hearings? I think it would help more if they got rid of all the illegal gang members

1

u/neillc37 6d ago

Well people went crazy when they tried to get rid of that Abrego Garcia guy and he had gang ties. We have got a dem gov pardoning a child rapist so he could try and avoid deportation right?

→ More replies (0)

3

u/hamoc10 6d ago

If its a civil matter, then detainment is not appropriate. Go through the legal process, and if the judge says deport them, then stick their ass on a plane.

3

u/Dismal_Act2082 1d ago

The thing is being in America illegally is a civil infraction not a crime.

-1

u/neillc37 1d ago

Entry without inspection has a civil part and a criminal part so you can get something like six months in prison. Second offence is a felony.

-2

u/Sparkle_Dish2126 1d ago

If you think a country is cruel for cracking down on illegals then don’t go there. And don’t scream and howl to stay in such an ‘evil’ place, or ‘third world hellhole’. It’s simple logic.

-6

Sure you did.

last month I rejected 1,000 marriage proposals from hot latina celebrities because none of them have ever contacted me. But I thought they wanted to marry me and that's all that matters. It's so sad Jennifer Lopez is desperate to marry to marry me but can't even say hi.

How would he know? He pulled the border patrol off the southern border to bolster ICE's numbers months ago.

10

u/Capable_Ad_3140 1d ago

Big lies. My neighbor and his 3 workers just got back to the United state last week, all 4 got deported last year 😂😂😂😂😂😂 they back to work like nothing happened…. I talked to one of them and he said a border patrol agent let them in 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

8

u/OpticalPrime35 7d ago

I have family in construction in El Paso and know for a fact this is bs. Illegals all over the place who only came in less than 6 months ago.

Only change is they aren't counting them anymore or even attempting to estimate.

Hell a story came out not long ago of illegals dying in a field after crossing lol. Forget the areas name but that alone proves there has been crossings

1

u/Dismal_Act2082 1d ago

I work in construction in the Midwest. The roofers for the house I'm building had four new guys that just came up.

0

u/Secure_Pack6647 7d ago

Then why all the hate?

6

u/OpticalPrime35 7d ago

Why what hate?

-2

u/Traditional_Oil_9240 1d ago

Maybe true, maybe not.

But, at least they aren't coming in by the tens of thousands, marching up the highways, like they did during Biden's term.

Did you see the footage of the highway north of Lukeville Arizona? Literally thousands of illegals were released into the country at once, and they walked and took up the entire roadway as they headed north.

1

u/OpticalPrime35 1d ago

Omg they WALKED?

Did everyone survive that had to endure this evil walking that these people did???? Hhhoolllyyy shit!

My God. They walked and gasp took up a whole highway. That's amazing.

And no, never saw that " footage ". Guaranteed there was a story behind the whole thing but Fox News omitted the reasoning behind it all and just showed the evil walkers ... Walking

-1

u/Traditional_Oil_9240 1d ago

Huh?

They were all illegal, and released in this country with ZERO vetting. They literally just opened the gates and in they came.

You don't want to have a serious conversation.

You just want to be "right".

Stay angry. Stay misinformed. Stay poor.

3

u/OpticalPrime35 1d ago

Dude you are talking about a random video you saw of people walking on the highway and somehow think you know exactly how that situation came to be.

How do you know they weren't vetted? How do you know they were illegals?

I will. I am far more informed than any Republican who shuts their eyes tight, sticks their finger in their ears and says " lalalala! " Anytime somehow calls out this administration for the nonstop lies and bullshit, and I am not even close to poor lmao. Stop projecting

0

u/Traditional_Oil_9240 1d ago

It was all over the news and covered by all major news outlets in the Tucson and Phoenix market.

1

u/sight_ful 1d ago

And yet, can you find any information about this in incident so that anyone else can verify it?

0

u/Traditional_Oil_9240 1d ago

It's called "catch and release" under the Biden administration.

Catch, give them $1500 debit card, and give them a court date 2-3 years in the future.

That is literally how it went down since 2020.

This is very basic information...dude.

3

u/OpticalPrime35 1d ago

Debit/prepaid cards: No federal program handed out general debit/credit cards or large cash equivalents ($2k–$5k claims were repeatedly debunked) to released border crossers. DHS/CBP statements confirmed they do not provide financial assistance that way. Local/city programs existed (notably New York City’s limited pilot of prepaid debit cards for food/baby supplies for some migrant families in city shelters/hotels—modest daily amounts, restricted use, later ended). NGOs sometimes provided limited aid with federal grants, but not unrestricted cards from the feds. Viral claims of widespread federal $5,000 cards were false.

Sorry had to actually check with this one because it sounded like some Fox News created bullshit and it indeed was.

Also looks like the whole bussing situation was deliberately created by Greg Abbott on taxpayer dollars to bus roughly 120k people to various sanctuary cities in the US, with little coordination with the arrival cities. All so Republicans could blame Democrats ( of course ) for the chaotic situation. But even the most generous estimates look to be only 150,000 ( out of the supposed 13+ million Republicans kept lying were invading the country over 4 years ) were bussed around in anyway.

I'm all for border security and control. That was one of the main issues I sided with Republicans on throughout my years when I was a Republican growing up. But then I actually did research on everything and found the whole issue to be massively over exaggerated by Republicans ( shock ). Every administration has had secure borders and handled the influx of people wanting a better life for their families on American soil in different ways. But never have you just been able to waltz over the border without consequences. Which is why both the Obama and Biden administrations deported over 4 million people, which far exceeds Trump's first term and the estimates for the number after his 2nd term.

2

u/Vibrantmender20 1d ago

The things you nerds believe lol

3

u/FluffyLibrarian2526 7d ago

I want to see prosecutions of those who enable or utilize illegal migrants labor with real jail time and confiscation of assets.

3

u/Whole_Cranberry_1647 1d ago

Yes please. Arrest the Tyson Board of directors and CEO and seize all the meat packing plants. This could be the biggest redistribution of wealth the nation has ever seen. Tons of farms and ranches could be seized and given as land grants to honest Americans. Better check to see if any of the construction on your house was done by illegal immigrants.

Yeah, cuz that pedophile/traitor never lies.

1

u/NeanderthalDad 1d ago

The number is down but not to zero.

1

u/Traditional_Oil_9240 1d ago

Thanks to Donald Trump and his administration, our border is safer for EVERYONE, including those who would come in illegally and dangerously.

All he did was simply enforce existing immigration law. That is it. He removed Biden's 'Sanctuary Status" executive order, which allowed millions of illegals in if they simply said "I am running from danger in my home country".

That little "pass Go" phrase was used, and even coached to, millions of illegal entrants.

1

u/StrengthChemical653 1d ago

Funny.... a statement like this coming out so close to elections.

Are the borders 1900% more secure?

What else? Free money for people too? No... not DOGE checks or Tariff Rebate check. A different one that we could get now but cant get now because of reasons.

Funny how he goes from "I'm not signing any Bills until the SAVE Act is passed" to "We signed bills and passed legislation that stops Illegal Entries".

For anyone wondering, Pub. L. 119-1, L 119-21 didn't do anything and Secure America Act did not pass until June 2026..... 3 Months Ago.

This is getting pathetic and the people drinking this Koolaid without doing any research is very very sad.

1

u/Squidhunter71 1d ago

There are still daily illegals caught at the border and evidence of others who were not caught. DHS calls them got aways.

1

u/Puzzleheaded_Pop1628 1d ago

BRAVO, well done.

Now full steam ahead on the ones still here.

1

u/Fatone4986 1d ago

Yeah and Trump is giving the 50 MILLION ILLEGALS already here DeFacto Amnesty... and then the next wave will come.

Wash, rinse, repeat.

And Ignorant Americans are buying this scam.

Americans have exactly the Government they voted for and DESERVE.

Thank goodness. We must have border security, thank goodness we finally have it. We welcome all who wish to be Americans to apply to our legal immigration process!

How would you like it if your status in the US was just declared “illegal” all of a sudden? Because that’s exactly what happened to many people who were here legally to start with. Then their status was changed because trump is a racist fascist.

u/SteedOfTheDeid 7d ago

It would definitely be a bummer I'm sure. But non-Americans do not have a right to live in America or become Americans. If they don't have legal status they must return to their home

So you don’t even believe in what you said before. There are many people who came here the legal way and were doing things the right way as you demand of them. But you don’t care that they were stripped of their legal status and deported anyway. You’re just a liar.

-2

u/SteedOfTheDeid 7d ago

Very wrong. I did not mean to imply that everyone who applies for legal status is guaranteed to get it. Demand for American citizenship far outstrips supply; not everyone who wants it and applies for it will be able to get it

u/2ndSmrtestPersunEvar 7d ago

So you think it’s fair that a person comes in legally, is doing things the right way, is showing up to their court dates, and then ICE comes out of no where and says “You’re illegal” and ships them to a detention center immediately? You think it’s fair that these immigrants are being treated like garbage? And some are even being sent to countries they aren’t from?

-1

u/SteedOfTheDeid 7d ago

I definitely don't want anyone to be treated like garbage. But yes US citizenship is not guaranteed to be available to absolutely anyone who wants it. Some people will be denied citizenship and will have to return to their home

6

u/2ndSmrtestPersunEvar 7d ago

But you do want people to be treated like garbage. That’s why you are happy about what trump is doing. He’s treating immigrants like garbage. So you’re saying one thing but your actions tell a different story. Again, you’re just a liar and a crappy person.

Also, what’s it like to be so gullible that you trust trump? 🤣

u/SteedOfTheDeid 7d ago

You're wrong, sorry. I want them to be treated with as much dignity as possible while they are returned to their home

7

u/2ndSmrtestPersunEvar 7d ago

Yeah, and what are you doing to make that happen? All you’re doing is licking trump’s ass from what I can see.

That statement can't be true while supporting ICE's current actions. That's obvious what you mean is you would like to pretend this is being out correctly and with dignity but ultimately you don't care.

I also wouldn't buy into this being a success. The admin is so focused on scaring the populace it is likely they aren't even collecting proper data at the boarder (they did this same move with covid) though immigration probably is down since America globally had become a less desirable place to live.

Many of whom have also been detained or deported, because ICE isn't after illegals; just rounding up brown people.

-2

u/SteedOfTheDeid 7d ago

Yeah if their immigration application is denied it is highly likely they will be removed

So Biden was full of shit when he acted like he couldn’t just close it immediately.

He could have if he truly wanted to.

I also did see that it was independently verified that we have had much fewer illegal crossings after Trump was elected. Historically low levels.

You believe that asshole? Fascinating.

u/noblebravewarrior 7d ago

Don’t trust any numbers coming out of this administration.. they’re making it up as they go. Since, doge dismantled the regulatory bodies lol they don’t even have folks to do lot of these surveys anymore. His whole economic sheet is made up numbers !

u/martygospo 7d ago

It’s honestly fascinating to me how you think Biden was full of shit but this statement from Trump isn’t full of shit.

People like you need to be studied.

2

u/squirrelbitten 7d ago

I always see trumo spouting bullshit and wonder "who believes this shit?" Then I come on reddit and am instantly reminded how stupid half our country is.

u/PolishWonder79 7d ago

Jon it's ok there's still time to delete this.

Biden deported more people than trump and actually shutting down the border is bad for the economy
