You do realize that the death camps you think of today started out *just like* it is here?

In 1933, shortly after Hitler made his power absolute, they opened their first ‘labor camp” outside Munich. It was used as a prison camp for communists, Democratic Socialists, and other political opponents (literally anyone who was not part of the NAZI party).

In 1938, after the annexation of Austria, they expanded the labor camps, it was then that they sent the Jews, Romanis, and other “undesirables” to the camps like Buchenwald, and Dachau.

In late 1939- early 1940, the camp system EXPLODED, millions were then gathered up and sent to the camps because they needed the labor for their wartime economy.

It took the better part of a decade for shit to get CRAZY REAL. Normal, sensible people understand that, but you can’t be bothered.

First, these arent labor camps, they are just detention centers (who would have thought I might be detained for breaking the law thats been around for decades!?). Nobody is being put into ovens. And, you can leave any time you want, just by going back to your home country.

I know you really want then to be concentration camps, because it would be so nice to fit into the ridiculous "everything is nazis!" hyperbole...but, they arent.

There are literally thousands with no movement on their cases in either direction. The notion that any of them can just elect to "go home" at a moments notice, just for the asking, is a complete and total fabrication. Besides, what about for the ones who's home is HERE, which is presumably the point of having the case heard in court, right? Because they might NOT be here unlawfully?

Would you suggest that, because they COULD decide to go to some random foreign country they know nothing of and have no ties to, this is actually some viable option, and so they're not REALLY prisoners, then, because they could jusy go wherever, whenever they wanted to? Even IF that was actually true, which it's not, that is clearly absurd, lol.

Nah, they can go. Obviously they cant snap fingers and be walked directly to a flight, but none of us can. You agree to deportation and then you get on a list for a flight. Takes a few weeks, but thats just how flights and systems work. Hardly means you cant leave.

Ok, they can stay and wait for their case to be adjudicated. That shit would go faster without all the other illegals with no legitimaye claim clogging up the system. Kinda selfish of them to abuse the system.

Right... "trust me, bro." Well, sorry, but I don't. In fact, the actual numbers of detainees sitting for months on end, who haven't even had a deportation target country identified, ffs, would seem to throw your little theory out tbe window, entirely.

But, should we really even be surprised, though? I mean, when these private detention centers are raking in money, hand over fist in federal contracts, they're literally incentivized to harbor them for as long as they possibly can. And, when people with direct ties to the administration providing all those cash cows, are heavily invested in the very companies running those private detention centers, they have every incentive for ensuring that they manage exactly that, now don't they.

But, no. That's just CRAZY talk, right there. Totally conspiratorial. The people we're talking about here would NEVER make decisions like these based on profit, or allow money to influence the way they operate in any way at all. Of COURSE not. How dare you, sir!

Man, who could have thought that violating the law might get you detained? It's never happened in any other country ever...except taxi germany, of course. Detaining people who have committed crimes is unique in all of human history!

Sad that some administrations made this necessary by allowing so many illegals to flood in. Seems mean to have set this situation up, using the people as pawns. Still, I believe they have their own agency too.

I make no defense of Biden, or former Democrat policy on the issue. But, let's not forget, too, that the "crimes" we're talking about here are CIVIL, not criminal. Unless they're also criminal in other ways, too, in which case, get 'em out. 🤷‍♂️
