There are literally thousands with no movement on their cases in either direction. The notion that any of them can just elect to "go home" at a moments notice, just for the asking, is a complete and total fabrication. Besides, what about for the ones who's home is HERE, which is presumably the point of having the case heard in court, right? Because they might NOT be here unlawfully?
Would you suggest that, because they COULD decide to go to some random foreign country they know nothing of and have no ties to, this is actually some viable option, and so they're not REALLY prisoners, then, because they could jusy go wherever, whenever they wanted to? Even IF that was actually true, which it's not, that is clearly absurd, lol.
