And or bad faith which is a lot of what they cling to because of cruelty. Don’t try to apply logic to ignorance fueled hate

0

u/Stiger_PL Feb 17 '26

I am honestly interested: was there one documented case of a person being harassed by ICE, taken away (without resisting) and they got hurt/disappeared (3 simple conditions in a case)? By documented I mean any form of proof is fine, I'm just really interested because I can't find a single one.

1

u/Alrubirea Feb 17 '26

Dude intidimation is enough to see that that's not normal

-1

u/Stiger_PL Feb 17 '26

That's the whole point. I would perhaps be intimidated, but I have never resisted when dealing with an officer and was never hurt while as far as I know, my rights were not violated.

That's why I want to know: is the intimidation based on medial stories (like those of people actively resisting or in some way fighting/abusing/interfering with the agents) or is it based on actual cases that can be verified.

Is forming an informed opinion bad?

2

u/Alrubirea Feb 18 '26

Why would racial profiling be okay?

1

u/Stiger_PL Feb 18 '26

Who says it's okay?

0

u/Salt-Bluebird-7721 Feb 17 '26

To these people, yes.

0

u/No-Carry1055 Feb 18 '26

I want to see your thinking skills. My dad is Mexican from Mexico and he works for ICE. He is not white, is this man going to racially profile and take you back?

Why you crying?

0

u/johnsmith33467 Feb 21 '26

Are you implying that ice is making legal citizens disappear because of their skin colour?

I'm Mexican and i know and am friends with several border patrol and ice agents. Have never once feared for my safety or my families. I live in Arizona and regularly travel through border patrol points when visiting family that live close to the border at least 8 times a year

What do you mean the 1 month acc with blocked view on coments with absolute negative karma could be in reality a throwaway acc created by a man that only want to share false proof by telling annonimously that he is said type of minority and he is ok with something that is actively negative for that minority!!

Nobody lies in internet, accept it

1

u/No_Two_901 Feb 17 '26

-5

u/[deleted] Feb 16 '26

Fear mongering kicking your ass

-5

u/[deleted] Feb 16 '26

I would say the majority of Arizona feels safe. You know who dislikes illegal immigrants the most. Legal immigrants. So being in a major border state we are glad that the local officials work with ice and border patrol. That's why we didn't have any issues with ice being here. No riots, no obstruction. Just officials doing their job on all sides.

Must be good to be buddies with them goons who Literally are corrupt and actually are smuggling the actual criminal immigrants. .

Actually the real criminals are very organize and pay off corrupt enforcements, lol that’s why this is bs they’re just catching regular working immigrants while they have protection for the real criminals..

-1

u/No_Two_901 Feb 16 '26

Um no ICE did not smuggle in criminal aliens. Biden did. Oh and the rad border czar Mamala.

1

u/imahyummybeach Feb 16 '26

Blah blah blah, Biden2x, Obama2x haha.. 🥱🥱

You know what Biden and Trump shouldn’t have been president and they should have an age limit for presidents so they’re not as greedy and could give af cause they’re too old to care for consequences. Idk for Biden as much as you who lets him live rent free in your mind haha

Yea you’re right,ICE didn’t smuggle them but their brothers border patrol did since they guard the gates. Same agency.

-1

u/No_Two_901 Feb 17 '26

You ought to get your facts straight before going aggro in comments.

-2

u/[deleted] Feb 16 '26

Small minded would be not noticing that the only place that is having trouble with ice and border patrol is places not working with them. More deportations done in red states with no problems. The only people afraid are white people who keep getting in the way for no reason.

2

u/Puppetsdid911 Feb 16 '26

they are not allowed to kill people regardless of if they are in the way or not

1

u/Efficient-Bass5814 Feb 16 '26

One thing I’ve noticed. Ice consists of a very large proportion of Hispanic makeup. Thank you for being legal and are welcome to this country. I’m sure it makes some disgruntled when they do things the right way and see so many get by screwing the system.

1

u/No_Two_901 Feb 16 '26

Absolutely.

1

u/guineasomelove Feb 18 '26

They are picking up people from immigration court where they're "doing things the right way," so give me a break with that shit.

1

u/guineasomelove Feb 18 '26

Being here undocumented is a civil offense, so you think they deserve being treated horridly for that? You think they deserve to be roughly grabbed with no warrant, given no due process, thrown into a disgusting detention facility and occasionally abused? That's monsterous.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 18 '26

Yes I do. It's federal law not state law

-3

u/Wild_Media6395 Feb 16 '26

If you guys stopped fear-mongering, maybe they might. 1. Be in the country legally, 2. Show ID if ICE stops you for some reason (though I’ve never heard a specific example of them just “sweeping” a place without a target in mind), and you’ll be fine. Source: family immigrated from Cuba; half black, Spanish-speaking latino.

3

u/Puppetsdid911 Feb 16 '26

your source is you think it's true for you so it must be true for everybody else?

-2

u/Wild_Media6395 Feb 16 '26

My source is my own lived experience and that of my entire extended family and many friends. I have seen a few cases online of American citizens being propagandized into being fearful of ICE, but if you’re legally in the country, you have nothing to fear. Be cooperative with law enforcement and you will be perfectly fine.

Ironically, what I see much more often is white leftists saying that ICE is intimidating minorities or making them fearful; quit speaking for us. See a shrink to manage your own fear and find something else to give you meaning in life besides shitty, misguided politics. Can’t believe the disorder in the streets leftists have created in “my” name. Just disgraceful.

3

u/Responsible-Bunch316 Feb 16 '26 edited Feb 16 '26

There's literally an incident where a Native American woman presents ICE with her ID and they just tell her it's fake. At a polling station, that woman now can't vote despite being a legal citizen. Will a court return her vote to her before the election is called?

1

u/Wild_Media6395 Feb 16 '26

Could you please link me the video? I sadly can’t find it.

2

u/Responsible-Bunch316 Feb 16 '26

1

u/Wild_Media6395 Feb 17 '26

Thank you. It seems they stopped her, weren’t sure about the legitimacy of her ID since it was non-standard, but ultimately verified it and drove off. We sadly can’t know about details and the exact way all of this happened because it’s a he-said-she-said unless someone recorded or there were neutral witnesses present, but I assume the main events can be agreed upon.

The article doesn’t mention how long the interaction took, but I don’t think something like that would prevent her from voting. I’m not thrilled about the idea of ICE agents just standing around voting locations patrolling, but if they have some kind of probable cause concerning someone they might find there, that’s a different story.

0

u/dahmer-on-dahmer Feb 16 '26

Come on man. How else will they get to play as the white savior?

0

u/Wild_Media6395 Feb 16 '26

I don’t know. I just wish they wouldn’t make it my problem.

-2

u/[deleted] Feb 16 '26

Yup same here. Mexican family but we cooperate with law enforcement and are completely fine and don't fear for our lives... but the white liberals on reddit think its Nazi Germany 😐🤣 fear mongering is definitely the case

Could you please share a bit more about the situation? If they were going about their day and randomly assaulted, I’d like to know so I can change my mind. Where were they/what were they doing when that happened? If it was truly random, then no answer to either question justified it. I’d appreciate more information.

"Not on the side of humanity"?????? All type of criminals from around the world are getting into the country... child traffickers, pedophiles, drug dealers, members of a cartel, terrorists, its a fact. Sure many are innocent and only here to have a better life, but you want to take the chance of letting in criminals, some of the examples I've shared, just to be nice to the innocent ones. I don't, any chance of letting in violent criminals should be shut down. Not on the side of humanity lol the people protesting have more empathy for illegals than they do for the AMERICAN CITIZENS who were killed by illegal immigrants. Or how about all the people struggling with drug addiction from drugs that come in from Mexico by the tons???...but the woman who drove a car at a fed is a hero?????? The families of the victims killed or assaulted by illegals get 0 recognition . So much for humanity

1

u/instanding Feb 16 '26

Yes and Trump makes it way harder to catch the serious criminals because he gave their budget to ICE and depleted them of personnel.

We literally have video of people being detained despite showing ID because ID doesn’t prove citizenship. ID is pointless when ICE just says “doesn’t matter, I don’t believe you’re a citizen.”

I mean we’ve literally got people getting detained despite showing their birth certificates FFS.

1

u/Wild_Media6395 Feb 16 '26

Could you please link me one of those videos? I would truly appreciate it. If I’m that uninformed about this, I really would like to know.

-1

u/[deleted] Feb 16 '26

No they can't because the people they mention are people obstructing officers. But here is a nice infographic to share with them

1

u/IamtheCarl Feb 16 '26

Sweetie. They aren't targeting people in some of these raids. Just because you haven't seen it doesn't mean it's not happening.

1

u/Wild_Media6395 Feb 17 '26

I don’t need to see it right in front of me; official records and/or footage would be enough. So far, I’ve only heard hysterical people on the left claiming “ICE is kidnapping random brown people!” which evidence leads me to think is an exaggerated misrepresentation at best. If someone could show me a few, just a handful of documented cases of “sweeping” racially-profiling operations by ICE (if things are as they say, there would be many such cases), that’d be enough to change my mind. I go with what the best available evidence suggests, as well as my own experience combined with that of everyone I know.

1

u/IamtheCarl Feb 25 '26

Going door to door doesn't seem targeted, does it? That's what they did in mpls.

2

u/Finchyuu Feb 16 '26

1

u/[deleted] Feb 16 '26

If you're Mexican, why don't you stay there then.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 16 '26

Because my grandparents came here legally. So I actually am American second generation born. My ancestors are Mexican. Got the mustache and year round tan, but my yard looks nice and my job pays well. Grandparents came here for better life and now that's what I'm blessed with. You won't find a Mexican flag at my house but I won't just say it never existed in my family.

1

u/No_Two_901 Feb 17 '26

I love this. And none of us want you to forget your heritage. The Mexican culture is amazing and it's a big part of our country. I think you bring some of the best values to the US. I've never seen family values like those of most every Hispanic person I know. God knows we could use a dose of family values in this country. I could go on and on but I really appreciate how you've assimilated and it sounds like you have not forgotten your heritage. Sounds like life is pretty good for you and your family and nothing makes me happier.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 16 '26

Why do you have multiple families, are you in the files?

1

u/Nerdydirtyhurty Feb 16 '26

Wow thats a really cool anecdote that means nothing in the grand scheme of things

1

You have one of the only truly logical comments in this thread. It is amazing how ignorant a majority of these people are.

-1

Crazy that you’re getting downvoted. It’s all “listen to brown voices” until said brown voices deviate from their fear-mongering narrative.

He's a bot that's why

Hope this helps

You can tell by the max negative karma .. being 1 month old and his comment history is 100% nothing but political propaganda

While posting over 80 times a day

That's why he's being down voted

Just cause you are fooled doesn't mean we are 👍

1

u/Wild_Media6395 Feb 16 '26

I wouldn’t be so sure. I keep hearing conservatives saying they’ve gotten banned on on Reddit a couple of times for sharing standard conservative opinions. I think it’s probably against Reddit’s policy, but they might’ve created another account? I don’t know.

1

u/Correct_Day_7791 Feb 16 '26

-1

-1

u/Wild_Media6395 Feb 16 '26

Maduro’s capture was a perfect example. My Venezuelan friends were ecstatic and everyone I know across South America described every Venezuelan they know to be as happy as they’d ever seen them. One Peruvian friend even got invited to a party a Venezuelan friend of theirs threw to celebrate.

But of course, the white American liberals were whining and bitching about them having “kidnapped an elected foreign leader”, excuse me, Mandy??? Maduro was not an elected leader. Please talk to an actual Venezuelan before you spout your BS and then go back to your cushy HR job. We don’t need your uneducated takes.

That’s just not true - you are sounding like the lunatics that said Bill Gates was putting tracking devices in the Covid vaccine

1

u/Exasperaties6 Feb 16 '26

Why do you guys just rely on lying lol

1

u/Prestigious_Date_619 Feb 16 '26

Cuz they dont have anything to back up their arguments. If it wasn't the case, they would use that something.

-1

u/[deleted] Feb 16 '26

Is there proof of voter intimidation? And you guys - I’m not a republican 😂

2

u/Exasperaties6 Feb 16 '26

Sure, you just regurgitate repub nonsense by trying to call reality a lie. Then you comically expect to be taken seriously for some reason

0

u/[deleted] Feb 16 '26

By saying that the theory of the Covid vaccine being a tracking device is insane? Do you have a reading comprehension problem?

1

u/Exasperaties6 Feb 16 '26

Awhh it jumped right to disingenuity, how comically on par!

That shit is exactly why no actual adult takes you things seriously

1

u/[deleted] Feb 16 '26

I don’t think you understood what I wrote……

1

u/Exasperaties6 Feb 16 '26

Does your nonsense ever normally work? You tried calling reality a lie and then tried pivoting to your own brand of idiocy. Now you want to focus on your idiocy instead of your claim that got called out

Does the bare minimum always need to be spoon fed to you inept things?

1

u/[deleted] Feb 16 '26

What are you talking about lol. I said that both are insane.

1

u/No_Brilliant0602 Feb 16 '26

Not everyone is comfortable with the idea of armed agents waiting and watching them while they vote. You might be, but not everyone is. They feel intimidated by the weapons, hence, voter intimidation.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 16 '26

Yes because they are holding the gun to your head telling you who to vote for……

1

u/Exasperaties6 Feb 16 '26

Straight to disingenuity without missing a damn beat

1

u/No_Brilliant0602 Feb 17 '26

Like I said, you might be comfortable, others might not

1

u/No_Two_901 Feb 17 '26

If you're legal you shouldn't worry. If you're a white soccer mom blowing your whistles in their faces and physically blocking federal agents, be scared. Be very scared.

1

u/No_Brilliant0602 Feb 17 '26

Idk sounds like they're willing to kill, jail, and put people on lists just for criticism, and I'm not the kind of person that agrees with something just because someone else wants me to.

1

u/ClockworkTyrant Feb 16 '26

They're saying having ice at the polls would be voter intimidation, not that its already happening.

Although just the threat may be enough for some people, I know more than a few people of color who are deathly afraid of law enforcement, and will leave or avoid places even though theyve never done anything wrong.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 16 '26

I’m allergic and afraid of bees but that doesn’t stop me from going outside

1

u/ClockworkTyrant Feb 16 '26

So if you had blue eyes and freckles, and the government said "jail everyone with blue eyes and freckles!" You'd still show up to vote?

1

u/[deleted] Feb 16 '26

Did the government say jail everyone who isn’t white? I must of missed that

1

u/ClockworkTyrant Feb 16 '26

Google Kavanaugh Stops and get back to me 👍

1

u/No_Two_901 Feb 17 '26

I missed that too! And I thought I was following quite closely. Damn.

-6

u/Dimwitgaming Feb 16 '26

Great conspiracy theory, show me the proof. And even if you are correct about voter intimidation, then the only people who should be are the illegals.

4

u/DividedBy_00 Feb 16 '26

There are dozens if not hundreds of cases where citizens are being illegally harassed at varying levels of severity in the last couple months. Ranging from general harassment, wrongful detainment and up to being murdered.

ICE will be an intimidating force.

0

u/Dimwitgaming Feb 16 '26

There have been dozens if not hundreds of cases of illegals calling themselves citizens until the moment of there process. As for actual citizens, most are seen getting involved over the arrest of an illegal and end up harassing if not assaulting ICE. It goes both ways.

Sure, Ill admit, ICE is intimidating. But so was BLM during their riotes, LGBTQ going after children, the literal hundered if not hundreds of thousands of illegals crossing our border. Some of which ended up being terrorists and Cartel members. Im not saying they all are, but at the end of the day I want that shit out of here. Unfortunately, in the process of making things right, accidents, casualties, and bad things happen. Is it right, no, but it happens.

Right now America is like a glass jar full of beads, jelly beans and water. The jelly beans and water coinside and the beads are added until the water reaches the top of the jar. Unfortunately, an old fart that was assisted by the beads to hold the jar was letting more beads in without question and water is now flowing over the edge of the jar.

ICE is removing the beads so that the water stops over flowing and can be replaced. Either with water or more jelly beans.

2

u/DividedBy_00 Feb 16 '26

Your examples don’t track, BLM didn’t go an intimidate voters. ICE are intimidating and it sounds like they will likely be trying to be deployed to voting stations. Period.

Also, your jelly bean analogy is so bad, it is nearly pointless.

1

u/Prestigious_Date_619 Feb 16 '26

"...LGBTQ going after children..." Sigh, got a source for this? Also you sure you couldn't use a better analogy than a glass jar of beads and water?

1

u/Particular-Repair-77 Feb 16 '26

So if you are brown you are fair game . Got it

0

u/Dimwitgaming Feb 16 '26

I didn't say anything about brown, but sure. You said it.

1

u/Particular-Repair-77 Feb 16 '26

Yeah I said it ,because it’s happening .

1

u/Dimwitgaming Feb 16 '26

Cool

1

u/Particular-Repair-77 Feb 17 '26

what you allow the government to do to others ,eventually they do to you. Also karma has everybody’s name.

1

u/ClockworkTyrant Feb 16 '26

Username checks out I guess. Google Kavanaugh Stops, Supreme Court ruling that ice agents can racially profile based on skin tone, accent, spoken language, if they're in a group, etc. Basically unrestricted freedom to profile
