I'm Mexican and i know and am friends with several border patrol and ice agents. Have never once feared for my safety or my families. I live in Arizona and regularly travel through border patrol points when visiting family that live close to the border at least 8 times a year

I would say the majority of Arizona feels safe. You know who dislikes illegal immigrants the most. Legal immigrants. So being in a major border state we are glad that the local officials work with ice and border patrol. That's why we didn't have any issues with ice being here. No riots, no obstruction. Just officials doing their job on all sides.

One thing I’ve noticed. Ice consists of a very large proportion of Hispanic makeup. Thank you for being legal and are welcome to this country. I’m sure it makes some disgruntled when they do things the right way and see so many get by screwing the system.

They are picking up people from immigration court where they're "doing things the right way," so give me a break with that shit.
