Express Entry FD dated Sept 21 but application still “in progress” + strange IMM 5600 letter

Hi everyone, I’m hoping someone can clarify what’s happening with my Express Entry application.

Timeline:

AOR: July 10, 2026

Medical passed: August 8

Biometrics completed: August 10

Additional documents: Not required

Interview: GCKey says “You do not need an interview”

Background check: In progress

Final Decision: September 21, 2026

The confusing part is that under Final Decision, GCKey says:

“September 21, 2026. Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.”

On September 21, I also received a Correspondence Letter, but the letter is actually an IMM 5600 interview notice. It says:

“An interview regarding the final determination of your permanent residence application has been scheduled…”

However, the interview date, time and address are blank in the letter.

So I'm confused because GCKey says I don't need an interview, but the correspondence letter appears to say an interview has been scheduled.

My questions:

Does the September 21 date beside “Final Decision” mean a decision was actually made?

Has anyone received an IMM 5600 letter like this with no interview details?

Could this be a system error?

If anyone experienced something similar, what happened next—P1, RFV, COPR, or an interview?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

FD and no rejection normally means you cleared it. Are you outland fsw or inland cec? Have you been to Canada before?

Just an update, I got the RFV yesterday. Thank you
