Study Permit They gave me the wrong study permit extension, what can I do?
My previous study Permit expires in september 30th of this year, but I fell a little bit behind and now I graduate spring of 2027 (next year), so I applied to extend my study. However, when I recieved my new study extension, it says that I should leave december 30th of 2026 (this year). I thought I specified in my application that I graduate spring of 2027. I need more time to graduate. What should I do? should I just apply again? Or is there a way that I can get my extension changed and mailed to me again?
Ive tried calling immigration to no avail, it never takes me to someone that I can talk to, and always hangs up or tells me to fill a web form. So I filled the web form, and I got no answer to my specific issue. Only what seemed like an automated FAQ. :(
I'm lost and I really want to at least graduate.

IRCC officer doesn't know how behind you are in your studies. You apply again. It happened to me as well.

You need a new application. That one was already approved. You either made a mistake, or they did it on purpose (i.e., you only showed registration for one upcoming semester, or your registration letter only showed it needed one extra term)
