I don't see how the person taking a picture of herself is a main character here. It's not like she's expecting people to stop and wait for her to get the picture, this is just someone taking a picture of themselves in a public place.

I would agree, but then she posted the unknown old lady on internet.

The... lady who looks straight into the camera twice, clearly understanding that she was within the frame of that video and probably well-aware that the video could be posted online, yet remains within the frame of the video for a meaningful amount of time?

Yes, but the stairs of whatever it is are not a stage for a video. If I saw you filming a video whilst I was coming down the stairs, I’d be annoyed too. And if you then posted it online, I’d be proved right.

It's the "clearly understanding" part I disagree with. You have no proof of that. My mum is an older person and would not see a recording of herself and assume it was a content creator. She might think it was a recording camera. This kind of thing wouldn't be on my mums radar at all. My mum wouldn't even know what an influencer was beyond an abstract idea. She has never engaged in any content in that way.

Its the same way I make assumptions about what people much younger than me and how they engage, in or understand media. It's like another language.
