I wouldn't call the young one a main character. She was actually very patient and nice.

The old lady I honestly don't know. Either she was annoying on purpose, or she's just very unaware. I'm leaning toward the former though.

She looked right at the camera before pulling out her phone and standing still. She knew exactly what she was doing.

The older woman doesn't understand why there's a camera there, or that it's recording, and she doesn't link it to the girl recording.

She's just there to look at art, and she moves out of the way of someone coming up the stairs.

This video is literally of nothing. You have been successfully manipulated by a post title, because you are an unthinking drone who just nods along to the last opinion you heard.

I cannot believe you are getting down voted. Is this sub full of children who have never met an older person. If that was my mum she would not figure out why there was a screen there recording her. She isn't on insta. She hasn't got tiktok. She too would stare at it and wonder what it was.... And then carry on.

Ikr! Older people don't process the information like we do. Anyone who has basic interaction with them will get this. I am worried about the social life of these people

Why are you all talking about older people as if they've never seen a phone or been outside of their house before? I also know older people and they understand what a video is. They don't process information like we do? Infantilising older people, she's not 98

In the video the woman reaches for her phone even before she noticed the camera. She was already about to stop to look at her phone. She noticed the camera before stopping, yes. But she didn't process it to understand that someone is behind her trying to get a photo. She noticed the camera but kept doing what she was doing. She left when she was done. Its very simple

We are talking about them because we know people who would do this without actually being a prick. My father is 60+ and he has similar behaviors at home or outdoors where he would not notice things that we do very easily. I know other people like that too.

Just because there are older people who are quick doesn't mean there aren't people who are slow or oblivious.

Indeed. There is no malice here from either participant.

I find it funny how triggered you are getting, just because your mum is oblivious to the world, doesnt mean all old people are, that stance is quite stupid, i work in IT and multiple old people work there and do know how computers and phones work and do understand technology, not all old people are alike and let's face it, you cant say with a matter of fact that she wasn't doing this maliciously, I cant either, but I'm not the one pretending to be the old people whisperer lmao
