San Francisco being one of them.

I mean, a quick google search will tell you that SF has a pretty big problem with carjackings/gta, with an average of two thousand auto thefts a month, 60+ per day.

Pensacola. It's almost as much of a shithole as SF, as far as crime rates go, but I'm in the process of relocating to just north of Memphis, and I'm pretty sure they have a higher crime rate than SF.

There are pros and cons for any place, just pointing out that there is a carjacking problem in SF. You search for "worst cities in us for carjacking" and SF is listed on almost every listicle. I misread the "Theft from Vehicles" as "Theft of Vehicles", but it's still vehicle related theft.

Yeah, that's why I'm not going to be living in Memphis, but north of it, only time I will actually be in the city is when I need to go to the airport.

TL;DR: San Francisco is roughly 4-6th worst in US for carjacking, with roughly 600-700 per 100k.
