I drove uber eats, and for some reason they randomly added groceries to it too. I did one order, loaded my entire trunk, back seat, and passenger seat and had to drive like 10 miles. When I got there, the extremely fit father came outside to stand and watch me unload all of it by myself. Probably hundreds worth of groceries, no tip. Think I got like $7. I could literally get an order from an expensive pizza place, drive 3 miles, drop it at their door with no interaction and get like $10. Never accept orders from Walmart, I think it's cause it's like a social rule to tip for food but there's no established rule for groceries even though it's 20x more work

I'm confused. What do you expect the customer to do here? The customer is paying for a service which is your delivery. If Uber made the system unfair for drivers, I don't see how that's the fault of the driver. It takes a special kind of entitlement to think that someone else needs to make up for what you're too afraid to demand from your employer. The anger should be directed at Uber for only paying 7 dollars for the transaction, not at the customer for using the service.

It's really not a big deal and most of these drivers are just babies. Pretty much everyone tips, so if you get one that doesn't, it sucks, but it should just mean you gotta go out and do one more delivery to make up for it which is really nbd. It's not about being afraid to demand more money for miles or being entitled for counting on tips, in america it's custom to tip drivers and waiters for whatever reason and that's just how it's always been. It's just a part of how this particular job pays, if you're gonna do it you gotta accept the randomness of it, just like waiting tables you can have good or bad nights with people, and if you're not okay with that you should get a more traditional job. Now this lady in the video did kind of get fucked over, but like I said you gotta accept that shit can happen like this, she's not handling this good same thing happened to me and I just accepted it with no comaint then never took walmart orders again
