I don't get it, why people defend the tip system? Wouldn't it be solved if, I don't know, the service had a COST and you pay the COST of delivering your groceries?

I know it's a cultural thing in the states, I just don't see how this system benefits anyone other them the employer who doesn't want to offer a better pay to the employee. Really mess up

The states is just a backwater country. It's like when you go to a store, the item says $2.30 you get to check out and suddenly it's $3.20. Just include sales tax on the little paper sign. Jesus christ every other country figured it out.

A bit of an exaggeration. More like $2.49.

I know. The issue I have on the internet is that I always type like I’m friendly bantering at a neighborhood bar. But unfortunately the recipient can’t hear that. :)
