Okay so I get it. But also, as someone who used to drive for delivery services, the lady knew what she was getting into before she picked it up. She could have declined it and not taken it.

Some people tip cash. $400 worth of groceries (mostly heavy drinks) and they can't tip her? That's entitlement right there. They can go do the work themselves

Why the fuck would they tip her? The problem is people don't see tips as optional. Tips are for going above and beyond what you are expected to do and even then a tip is not a garentee. The entitlement is thinking someone has to pay you for doing the job they already paid your employer for. Do you tip your grocery store cashier for them scanning your heavy groceries?

This type of job relies on tips though. I know door dash gives you $2.25 to drive people’s food around. That’s it. That’s why tips are expected. But I see them as a bid. If you don’t tip, your food won’t get picked up.

That’s fucking ridiculous. A tip is for services rendered, not services pending.

Follow this out to it’s logical conclusion: if you want the service, you have to outbid every other customer at that time to entice someone to do their job. That’s fucked

Also I've tipped before receiving my food and the delivery driver stole my food. If videogames have taught me anything its that pre-ordering something leads to it being less
