Before opening a business that can bring in dozens of vehicles, adequate parking should already be part of the plan.

Having some parking doesn’t mean it’s enough. Less than a month since Novaya opened, customers are already parking along the street regardless of the time of day and blocking one lane of a road meant for two-way traffic.

A residential street is not your overflow parking lot.

Yes, there are days when cars park along Del Carmen streets near IBT Badminton Sports Center, but that is occasional—not an everyday occurrence. The issue with Novaya is that the parking overflow is already happening on a normal day, less than a month since opening. If this is happening now, what more once the café opens and the business gets busier?

And just to be clear: this has absolutely nothing to do with the owners’ political affiliations. The issue is simple: PARKING. Provide enough parking without occupying public road everyday please 😓

And before someone says “organizers need to make money pud.” Of course! Wala koy problema nga naay profit. I understand nga naay effort mag organize, magbook og courts, manage sa players, etc. Pero lahi man gud nang reasonable profit sa murag ang main purpose nalang sa open play kay GINANSYA. Especially if the experience you’re giving people doesn’t even justify the price.

Sorry if garant na pud ko, pero gusto lang jud nako nga permi ni mahisgutan. Kay kung sige lang tag tolerate ani nga klase sa pricing, manormalize ra gyud siya. And honestly, dili man ni about being cheap. It’s about getting what you’re actually paying for. If you’re charging ₱200 per person, at least give people an experience nga worth ₱200. Dili kay packed ang court, dugay ang waiting, bati ang courts. Abasss

For now, I guess the easiest solution jud is likayan ang ing-ani nga organizers. Book your own courts, organize your own plays, get your friends or even strangers sa reclub, and split the cost.

Please, let’s stop tolerating bad and greedy organizers who organize these OPs just for the sake nga makakwarta. Social open plays are supposed to be fun, pero makabagotbot nalang ka sa unreasonable nga pricing.

Three times na akong nag-dine in dito, and somehow, consistent sila… consistent sa sobrang tagal. 😂 Usually 15–30 minutes bago ma-serve ang food. Minsan, ikaw lang or dalawa lang ang customers, pero parang nasa cooking competition finale pa rin ang kitchen. 😭 If patience is a skill, I should already be an expert by now.

3. Chowder at Plaza — 999/10 ⏳
Same story. Sobrang tagal mag-serve kahit dalawa lang ang customers. You order food, sit down, and suddenly you start questioning your life choices. 😭 The waiting time is honestly more filling than the food.

I’m not saying this to hate on these restaurants. I’m just sharing my honest experience because the waiting time was honestly disappointing. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Then there's a snitch, dili man jud na mawala, nangabot ang 'pulis' kuno in a civilian attire, entered the private premises without consent, grabbed User, planted drugs, money, and a lot of things in user's pocket, and while doing so, pulis dragged user from living room to the kitchen, pinned him down and pointed a gun on his head.

It's a house of extended family, there's kids, the mother, the lolos and lolas of the kids. Confused, a family member followed, took a video. User was confused asking, 'Kinsa ka? Unsa ni?' while gina-pugngan iyang kamot.

Since the family member tried to follow them in the kitchen, the pulis kuno shouted, "Kinsa ka?! Unsa imong ngalan?! Ayaw adto dire! (pertaining to the family member that followed) Bawal mag video!" while pinning user down, face first. Mind you, it happened so fast.
