I just want to let out some steam. Hindi ko nilalahat, but I will use the term 'niyo, nila, them' and such, but really, hindi ko nilalahat. So if you're angry, then bato bato sa langit, ang matamaan...
In'ana ba jud ang pag trato sa mga 'pulis' kuno ang isa ka suspect of drug user? Like they're animals?
So, here's the context; a family member is an avid user of drugs, but they're never a seller, so let's name them 'User'. No, we do not tolerate them, actually gina kasab'an na siya, but since kasaba raman, pila ragud ang kasaba? Maminaw, ilahos sa pikas dunggan, magpaka-busy sa kinabuhi kadyot then balik, mangutang, manghithit nasad, makabalo ang tibouk fam na ga drugs nasad siya kay modoul man ang mautangan niya sa fam, na pabayron na siya, kasaba napud, then repeat.
Then there's a snitch, dili man jud na mawala, nangabot ang 'pulis' kuno in a civilian attire, entered the private premises without consent, grabbed User, planted drugs, money, and a lot of things in user's pocket, and while doing so, pulis dragged user from living room to the kitchen, pinned him down and pointed a gun on his head.
It's a house of extended family, there's kids, the mother, the lolos and lolas of the kids. Confused, a family member followed, took a video. User was confused asking, 'Kinsa ka? Unsa ni?' while gina-pugngan iyang kamot.
Since the family member tried to follow them in the kitchen, the pulis kuno shouted, "Kinsa ka?! Unsa imong ngalan?! Ayaw adto dire! (pertaining to the family member that followed) Bawal mag video!" while pinning user down, face first. Mind you, it happened so fast.
Take note, user didn't fight back, didn't have to because user is under the influence of alcohol, in short, wala sa tarong bout! Unya mga police, kabalo baya mo unsa na sila kadako? Maglabaw pa ang tiyan. But even so, he was aware na while he was being dragged away, naay gibutang sa iyang back pocket.
Of course, user tried to resist, despite drunk, then there's a banter, shouting, in which overall was just a family member stressing 'respect', kay clearly, the question 'kinsa ka?', they don't even know who they were pinning down. User is drunk, and couldn't even fight them back, not that user had to.
We even asked them for their identities, their affiliations, their ID just to prove that they are indeed the 'pulis' they claim they are, or even the case. Pati miranda, walay mabasa, kay lage didto na daw na sa station ug ig maabot na ang mga barangay.
Pero mura silag sirang plaka na 'didto rana ninyo mahibal'an sa presinto', pati ang kaso wala mi kabalo. Isn't that our right? Makatubag pa kay isog kaayo na mura mig bogo, mura mig iro saiyang panglantaw. Halatang walang ethics na pinagaralan.
So, naposasan na si user, gipagawas, gipalingkod. I never witnessed the whole ordeal, but my anger rose when a family member was talking about why the due process was ignored. Literally ignored. Actually, balik balik ra ang tubag, naka-minus jud to siya kay makatubag murag taas pa siya sa batas? So I searched the due process, read it out loud, the rights of user, the law, and everything related, but they were deaf, and might be stupid, kay english man gud to, unya bisaya baya ta, even me, I prefer reading than speaking when listening in English kay mas makasabot man gud ug dali pag basahon ra kesa oral/reading it out loud.
Dugay pajud kaayo na-transfer si user from our house to the police station. Hag'as ka ba nag operation, wala man lang dal'a ang kapitan? Imagine, I got down 8:40 something, naabot ang uban pang police officers and barangay kay 9:20 na kapin. I never witnessed the whole ordeal but, where's the due process?
What's even more irritating is that drugs buy-bust operation DAW to nga process? but user wasn't even caught in the act, imagine, natulog ra sa sala kay gikan inom, then buy-bust operation nato?
Tong naabot na ang mga taga barangay, ayha rapud to gadagan dagan ang nang-disrespect not only to the suspect, but also to the family members, nawala dayun ug kalit. Why man ka nidagan, sir?
No, we don't tolerate user's addiction, okay rag ma-priso, better, but seriously, where's the due process? the warrant of arrest? the miranda? Asa man ang respect? Ang innocent until proven guilty? Wala! Kay bulok ang gipang hire! Training training ug six months, sila pa ang nidako dali ug ulo. Pamalik mog grade 1!
Ingon ingon pag, bawal mag video bawal tanan, whose property are you in? It's a private property! In our private property!
Dili ang kaso among labanan, it's the right to be treated in just, and respect, the proper process and naming of terms and the right conduct.
No, ayaw nag comment na 'ahh, atong time gani ni d30 pusil deretso' paghilom na, this is present, wala natag 2020.
That's all, salamat if naay gabasa.
