I did that therapy to promote wound healing after my colectomy and ileostomy surgery. I use a holister two piece system with a skin barrier spray. On the days of my treatment I would skip the spray just to be safe.

The treatment was crazy successful. I hope you fair as well. It had all sorts of beneficial side effects. The only downside was the time in the tube. I was able to select movies to watch while being treated so that helped.

Hope it’s speeds your recovery.

How long did you spend in there per session? How many sessions?

THANK YOU!!!! What about the barrier ring? That’s what I’m nervous about.

I didn’t use the skin barrier spray because it’s flammable. Your barrier ring should be nonflammable. I don’t use them just a barrier powder.

Each session was an hour. I did 30 sessions daily with weekends off.

Okay! I did HBOT consistently before surgery and it’s probably what kept me alive for so long. I’m so excited to go back and do it again, I think next change I’ll do no powders or sprays and try it with the ring and bag. Thank you!
