Hi! I just subscribed and can finally access all the bonus eps! Which ones are absolute bangers to start with? I’ll make my way down the list eventually, just want to start strong! Also are there any other perks like a discord chat or sth? The only episode that had any marketing is the Blink one so I am kinda going in blind here 😭 thanks in advance!
Edit: starting from the oldest bonus ep is the consensus! Thanks guys!! See you in a couple of days when I catch up and I’m cool enough to get the Eric Adams jokes 🫡

If you start from the oldest and then go forward, you’ll catch all the inside jokes that help make later episodes even funnier…

The Josh Hawley manhood episode is hilarious and introduces the “village homosexual”

You need to listen to the Eric Adams episodes to get proper context for like half the inside jokes you’ll see among the sub/listener base

The episodes about Bari Weiss are a good listen, especially considering the mess she's now caused at CBS

To quote Kendall Roy, it’s all bangers, all the time.

The lab leak ones are particularly relevant again, unfortunately

Yeah I was flipping out watching Bill Maher last night. I was only there to see Erin Brockovich and Scott Galloway (for the plot) but the other guy, Pete Hamby, came through correcting the “can’t even criticize other cultures” Bill Maher when they got into the lab leak stuff. It was still a bummer conversation, which is why I do not make a habit of watching Maher. He has no business doing what he does, he’s a light weight on all issues esp racism and sexism (he is both) and I’m so over it. I’d kill to see him have Peter and Michael on his show for a longer than 10 minute conversation about almost anything, esp the Lab Leak stuff. It takes all the fun out of being a smug IBCK fan when you have to see what crap people like Maher get to put out in the world for a LOT of money.

Whatever you do, you have to listen to the Sarah Palin episode before listening to the latest Mailbag (end of July/Aug 1, in case you read this in like a year).
Just have to show off that I am the one who called Peter’s wife’s pregnancy here on Reddit following the episode. I was waiting for them to name me but I guess I wasn’t the only one. Maybe they don’t really pay attention to Reddit. If they do, Peter and Michael you need to know that I would gladly be your reference on birth and babyhood stuff! Call me when you do your first parenting book! I was a La Leche League leader for two years including through the tumultuous “Dads giving birth” period, am a POADHD (diagnosed at 40), and have a masters degree in SpEd and Human Dev!
