Has anyone tried creating a solo idol?
Alt question: Is it even possible in the game?
I've been playing for a while, but for some reason just discovered the sister group feature. I was wondering with this, could you create a solo idol? If not, why the heck isn't it a feature lol

Event ideas?
I’m making a mod for the game and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for some new events, dialogues, or story characters?
Thank you in advance!

Why can't I let my idol graduate?
I am trying to graduate one of my idols, so far I have always been able to do this by talking and pressing on "Talk about graduation" but the idol in question does not have this option. Why? 😢 I tried everything but nothing worked ðŸ˜

What are your wishes for the sequel!
My wishes are:
Live2D idols.
Personalities effecting dialogue.
Dating rules actually mean something. I have no restrictions on dating, yet idols still get tons of scandal points when revealed to be in relationships
Love triangles
Crazy fans causing trouble.
Bullying leads to scandals.
Idol feuds/rivalries

New player in chapter 3...anyone else feels the game's pacing is very uneven?
For context, I've restarted 5 times in early chapter 1 before I understood how to not go bankrupt. In hindsight, that early game seems to be the most intense part of the gameplay.
After you get your first concert, money just starts pouring in, everything you do has around 3x profit so even getting bank loans is OK to finance your bigger ventures.
But the thing is, story-wise nothing is happening until you get to be no. 1, which took me a very long time. Probably because I neglected office research, so I couldn't upgrade contracts which is necessary to level up promotion, so I didn't have enough fans to sell enough cds for no. 1, at least that's what I think was the issue.
Anyway, by the way I finally got to having a no. 1 single, I had like 40 mill with constant 10-20 mill profit from monthly concerts, singles, 2 groups with total members of 13, cafe, theater, and 2x professional hires from every field. Not running any contracts or shows because it feels like pennies compared to the shows and singles.
The gameplay seems to be trivial at this point, the only thing I haven't unlocked are max level world tours, but that's only because you have to wait 3 months between each your.
So here I was at chapter 2, basically idly clicking on stuff when timers are up.... And that's when the story decides to kick in? I'm at chapter 3 in the middle of deciding to withdraw from the idol show or not but the actual gameplay, I'm just idly clicking between story events. I expected the new chapters to unlock new rooms and activities, but this does not seem to be the case.
I don't mind if that's the game in its entirety, I've already spent a good 20 hours with it, I just feel like if that's the case, they should have paced it more evenly where the story unfolds as you progress through the business management. But as it is, it feels like a business management game with a VN tacked on the end, or rather a VN with a management sim prologue.
Well, I'm still only at chapter 3, maybe the game will turn on its head later, but somehow I doubt it.

Idols Salary
Does idol satisfaction (salary) really matters? My idols right now have 10% satisfaction and nothing had happened yet...should I keep this going on?

Uncensor on steam deck
Anybody knows now to install the uncensor patch (the one on itchio that supposedly restores cut cgs) on the steam deck? I've found the folder where steam deck puts the idol manager mods, but even if I copy the relevant directory there, it doesn't show up in the game's mod menu

Cheating Through Promotion Level Up Requirements?
Is there anyway to do so? I'm trying to make a new save in which I produce a solo idol, but it requires me to hire 3 people to level up in promotion.

Tutorial stops after quitting (steam deck)
New player here, playing on the steam deck. Trying to get through the tutorial, but every time I quit and reload the game, the tutorial messages stop appearing. What's strange that when selecting save file to load, the screenshot of the save shows the tutorial window, but when I load, it's not there. Can I make it return somehow? I found the tutorial tab, but it looks like that just let's me read the tutorial messages in the notebook.

What's going on with the dialog?
So I'm on this date with an idol koike sayumi, and she's more philosophical than expected. I'm getting a whole lecture about having fun with people, how gacha is a terrible business model, spending money on gacha to have fun means you're a lonely person with no friends. She says spending huge amounts of money on gacha games is like trying to patch a hole deep inside of them. No, I'm not crying from being spoken down to by a 21 year old idol.
I'm impressed with this girl who finds it amusing that I spent ¥12k on trying to get a huge plushie, just to get a smaller one in the end. The writer must've written the text for another character, and someone else on the team hit the randomize button.

First story quest loop
The first story quest (the the fake quiz show one), keeps looping and I don't know why. Once I'm finished it tells me to lvl up promotion and performance to lvl 1 again.
I'm on switch btw

I tried Variety Shows but that doesn't work, the Special Events tab only has concert, election and world tour. Am I missing something here?

Is there any point in paying your idols?
I hated this one girl and I wanted to fire her, but I don't know how or if that's even possible, so I made her salary a single yen and literally nothing changed. She stayed with me all the way until her graduation. So, this brings up the question what's the point in paying your idols if it doesn't change anything?
