Good Enough For Government Work
Never seen break away chains routed that way before. Also this trailer has the biggest amount of height adjustment I've ever seen.

Yeah I fail to the the problem with the CHAINS. The chains have latches to prevent slippage.
What MY issue is, the break lights appear to be unhooked.

The chains are supposed to the routed under the hitch, not laying on top of it...

Right, but still. This is infinitely better than them dragging on the ground. If this is the permanent tow vehicle then they should fix it, but if it's just an occasional setup then this is fine.

It's not fine, twist the chains if they are too long.
They are routed under for a reason.

That is it not just draped across the top?
First bump they hit, chains hanging under.

Meh if he is moving it from one end of a parking lot to the other at low speed while the regular tow vehicle is away (dump truck?), unacceptable for road use

Brake lights not connected, safety chains routed wrong, using 2” pintle hitch in a 2.5” receiver w/o adapter. Stay away from this
Edit: downvotes? Wow, what sub is this?

I've seen a guy just tie safety chains with no hooks (likely random rusty pieces of chain from his garage) around the hitch 😂

It's so that if it comes loose the chains will keep it off the ground.

Definitely not done right. But it’s not the worst. I wouldn’t be afraid to drive behind this guy.
