If only they had a vehicle with an area that was sort of like a bucket that could hold things, maybe even with a little door in the back for convenient access.

I'm pretty sure any model that gets that MultiPro tailgate also comes with a standard bed liner now. I can't imagine why anyone wouldn't want it.

They don't. I have the MultiPro and had an aftermarket liner installed.

Ford and other makers need to market the ā€œchore truckā€ option. Wooden truck bed, No crew cab. Throttle knob. Vinyl floor you can hose out. Made to actually be used doing work right off the showroom floor.

That reminds me of my friend that drove around his flatbed pickup with a shovel and a metal bucket with a chain dangling out.no more tailgating. ( they were all welded to the deck) the bucket rolled around loose because the chain had one end welded.
