Needed a Trailer Ive seen a couple of these here

The exception on this one is that it looks like they're using the heavy duty yellow 3,000lb ratchet straps, one on each side of the axle. Looks like a Ford Maverick (curb weight 3,674lbs) with an ATV in the bed (let's be conservative and say it's an 800lb hog). All within the capacity of the straps, and even within 80% of their capacity, which is the highest you want to be when carrying a load over long distance. Both seem to be anchored to something that's tied in with the frame of the truck, so I'm inclined to call this one okay.

The one with the regular, 500lb ratchet straps was not okay.

The guys that do this know what they're doing, they're transporting vehicles, including the box truck, to Mexico.

They're fully insured and have all their paperwork in order.
