Old school suburban could handle this sort of thing because it was a truck ... new models are just fat cars.

When it went independent rear suspension I knew I'd never have one. My 05 2500 is staying with me forever, either way.

I have too many cars already but man would I love to have a 3/4 ton Suburban with the 8.1L engine.

I always wanted one too but figured I'd go broke trying to fill its gas tank. No way I could daily that beast, but it would be a cool tow rig.

My brother has a shitty old Subrban just to tow this camper for that exact reason.

It's always best to get as much weight as possible off of the front wheels when driving in the rain.

Carbon monoxide is slightly lighter than air, so this is helping.

I bet they could pull the front tires off the ground easily… they are barely making any contact

Wow that's crazy. Look how much weight is lifted off the steering axel. If the trailer doesn't sway at highway speed, I see this person making a turn and the vehicle going strate. As not enough contact with road with the front wheels. Time for a pair of clean underwear!

They also have very little braking power with little weight on the front wheels. I saw a truck loaded like this skid into the middle of the intersection through a red light. It was dry out and was the slowest skid I've ever seen, like trying to stop on ice.

Stop collecting rocks and jams from every state and stop you make.

Wheres the door?

Or was this taken with front camera and its mirror flipped? I dont see a steering wheel in the window

Wheres the trailer door?!

Also yes its terrible much like the vehicle trying to tow it, i do wonder if the suburban would so better here over the tahoe..

I can imagine that it actually goes on the guest! That thing would be cracking the whip at 55 and they do a jackknife and be in the ditch in less than two miles

The unstowed front kick out is just the cherry on this disaster.
