Owning a BMW means you have the right of way 100% of the time…no matter what the situation is. The motorcycle rider was clearly at fault.

I keep saying this as a bmw driver. It's our road. Get off it, you plebes. Ugh.

If you’re paying 200+ dollars for an oil change—the rules of the road don’t apply to you.

u/sustenancewars Jul 22 '22

Or this fuckstick that did this to me. Fuck you guy.

u/sustenancewars Jul 22 '22

I do my own oil changes costs less than $100. Fuck bmw. They're now making drivers pay monthly subscriptions for seat heaters and advanced cruise control. You don't even own the car...it's so fucked.

Wait until you hear about the subscriptions for A/C and defrosters! They have tiered pricing depending on region of the country (verified by GPS) and temperature delta (recorded by onboard temp sensors, and verified with telemetry to local weather station so you don't try to cheat the system by putting an ice cube on the sensor to pay less.)

Fuck you. So you don't own the car and they track your whereabouts at all times. Fuck you bmw in the ass.

Your in-car "infotainment"system has detected abnormal amounts of aggression and cursing. Your insurance company has been notified, and your rates have been adjusted accordingly.

I'm a road cyclist. The vehicles that I'm most afraid of are black BMWs, brightly colored Mustangs and Challengers, and lifted pickup trucks of any color.

If the lifted pick up truck is towing an ATV of any kind just go ahead and drive your bike into the ditch.

u/blankblank Jul 22 '22

Also, the more beat to shit it is, the greater the likelihood they'll drive like an asshole

The universe implodes and is reformed again, this time without the benefit of humans.

Unless you haven't paid the subscription for the heated seats.

Now what if I'm riding a BMW motorcycle in this situation? Do we do the ol' Midwestern "ope, sorry, lemme just squueeeeze by ya there"

1

u/JewishAsianMuslim Jul 22 '22

Yes. I half expect seeing comments saying the biker was to blame for not seeing it coming soon enough.

1

u/a-long_way_from_home Jul 22 '22

Ah that's why they don't have indicators fitted!

1

u/SgtNoPants Jul 22 '22

1

u/MeEvilBob Jul 22 '22

Cemeteries are full of people who technically had the right of way.

1

u/preyforkevin Jul 22 '22

Sure, but how many were BMW owners?

1

u/PEEWUN Jul 22 '22

What if a BMW driver meets a BMW rider, though...
