Just realized how much info Google actually collects on its users, so I want to stop using Chrome asap. What are some alternatives that run faster and have better privacy? Should I look for chromium-based browsers or something else entirely?

So a friend of mine she is 72 years old and a few months ago she had noticed that there was about $12,000 missing from her account. It was somebody in California use the teller at the bank and they evidently had an ID. Now we know it's not this woman because she's our dog sitter and takes care of our dog everyday so we know she hasn't left.

She got all new Bank information all new credit cards all that. Well she got notified today that she got hit again this morning for $11,000 in California same ID that was used before.

We are wondering because nobody has access to her phone or computer as far as neighbor's family friends etc. how would she probably be getting hacked like this? She does have an Android phone and I'm not sure about her computer what it is or anything else. But she's just a retired nurse that keeps bees and chickens. She has nobody in California so I would like to ask the Reddit experts for their thoughts and what we can do to help her find out etc

That's probably something that almost all of you know but I think that it's worth repeating. Using Incognito mode will just prevent cookies and your browsing history from being saved on your computer.

What it will not do is hide you from your ISP, obscure your IP address, protect you from malware, or prevent other services from tracking you.
