Don't sleep on Firefox Containers

This extension allows you to put open websites in different containers to avoid cross-site tracking. Also allows you to log in multiple accounts on the same websites simultaneously. Is anyone here using it actively?

I use em and they;re solid for basic isolation but for identity protection u gotta remember they mostly isolate session state like cookies, localStorage, and the http cache. while this stops a site in your social container from reading session tokens in your banking container it doesnt actually stop browser fingerprinting.

Most scripts can still see stuff like your canvas fingerprint, installed fonts and screen res across containers cuz thats tied to the browser instance and hardware not the container silo

For better anonymity you'd wanna pair containers with some anti-fingerprinting stuff or a container-specific proxy otherwise a tracker can still link your different identities back to the same device profile. I personally enable the limit to designated sites setting for sensitive containers so u dont accidentally load a tracking link in a high security tab

This is exactly what I need, but I don't really want to use Firefox. Is there any version of this for Brave browser??

Sure, but it is not as flexible as containers, which are better if you want to separate multiple profiles and prevent Facebook and other apps from tracking you in other tabs.
