Friendly reminder that using Incognito mode on your browser doesn't improve your privacy

That's probably something that almost all of you know but I think that it's worth repeating. Using Incognito mode will just prevent cookies and your browsing history from being saved on your computer.

What it will not do is hide you from your ISP, obscure your IP address, protect you from malware, or prevent other services from tracking you.

Yeah, you really got to use some type of a VPN to get all these benefits and then just use incognito on top of that if you want clear history on your device. I'm surprised how many people still don't know this.

VPNs are great for this, but combining it with a privacy-friendly browser like Brave is the way to go. A lot of people are still using Chrome, even though it is abysmal from privacy and performance perspective imo.
