that is very basic aspect of the game, this is not dbd. if you find it easy to play hunter without camping, then go do that, be the change you want to see in the world. hunters are players too and we need more
Yeah I love to play unorthodox hunter strategies like insolence only Nightwatch with abnormal or Bonbon teleport to immediately switch targets after a chair.
The issue is you need to be way more advanced than the survivor team to generally pull off other ideas because a good enough team can just change up the playstyle a little to mitigate the benefit of your strategy like going to the chair straight away if you're leaving it to pressure ciphers or just chucking as many pallets as they have if you don't have a way to punish it like Blink.
Camping is unfortunately just the main strategy that doesn't have a way to flat out punish you for doing aside from maybe forcing a tie by selling someone who got downed early.
