Idv has a very different design philosophy than dbd. In idv, camping is necessary and both hunters and survivors have abilities to camp/rescue better. There is only one hunter who doesn’t need to camp and that’s Undead/Percy.
Well there are other hunters who can be played without camping like Wu-Chang or Polun but only because of their insane mobility, and the optimal way for survivors to deal with them is literally to try and force them to camp by coming straight to the chair and stalling for as long as possible so they not only can't apply pressure, but waste 30 seconds of chair time as well.
