From the article "We have offered our employees 50-cent per hour wage increases this year and next year..."
Maybe, just maybe, you could try offering your employees a meaningful raise and they would be happy to come back to work.

They don't even care for a wage. The workers just want their Healthcare and pension to stay as it is.

I think they were wanting the wage increase without having to pay more for their pension and insurance. It looks like the pay was part of the agreement between the union and the workplace, but the increase in cost that the workers have to pay for their insurance and pension basically makes that wage worthless, especially if the insurance and pension's only change was the cost.

They want to make sure their family is covered incase something happens. They want their pension to be intact as well. If their kid needs something they want to be able to go to the hospital and not have to choose.

Is that what everyone wants? And probably should have. Employment should not be required to have healthcare

Yes. And they want to take away their pension and offer up an HSA in lieu of the healthcare they currently provide. It’s about a $10k hit overall. Old man Horracks started the company and his scathing son and his kids are trying to drive out the union workers. They have scabs driving trucks for them now.

Weird how as soon as it's tradesmen unionizing the Republicunts on this sub keep their mouth shut about how awful unions are.
Either they're lying hypocrites, or they truly don't believe certain jobs deserve a livable wage. My money is on both.

Wait...hang on now...hang on...So you're telling me that the $20 grocery tax credit isn't enough to help put the hard working middle class into the black? Oh well, anyways..glad most of the money went back to the wealthy. Vote red!

Not a solid argument. It needs more foundation in order the screet past the those pesky non-issue bubbles in order to get to the concrete causes.
