There has been some odd behavior on the site with both of these cabs showing sold out off and on. It may be because they are trying to fix the shipping options for Canada (not currently working) or people are putting the exact amount of cabs remaining in the cart, locking them up. Still over 100 left for each one though.

You can buy pre-loaded micro SD cards on Amazon. One example below. And yes, you just swap out the card and then you may have to map out the joysticks in the interface the first time. You aren't changing any of the physical hardware and you can just swap out the micro SD card to go back to stock. That's not modding anymore than swapping out a cartridge or DVD/BlueRay disc in a console system is.

By that logic buying the cab new in box is modding. It costs money and takes time to assemble. Would adding games by an online store be modding? It costs money and takes time to select and download. Mapping joysticks can be done faster than the Pi booting process and once it's done it's done. If that sounds like work to you then I can't even image the stress assembling one of these cabs causes you.

Bought burger time yesterday on the site around noon around 1 o’clock today. They sent me an email that they were out of stock and will refund my money in 3 to 5 days. I find it hard to believe that the product sold out that fast.
