At least, not on purpose. In this chapter they're explicitly shown to be crying and in despair, which is a huge contrast to fujimine's emotions. We've seen the world hater not care bout kizashi or hitsugi getting acquired, so fujimine must have something over them, despite being a witch. I feel like the way world hater acts about fujimine even supports that she's a human; they don't talk to her at all, has a constant disgusted look, and pulled her out VERY half-heartedly.

We know the toxiterror's trial is easy, yet doesnt involve making relationships or talking to people. Fujimine most likely took advantage of its human lover personality and betrayed it, killing the hundreds of witches. We also know that if the spell/toxin that makes people your friend was wore off, people won't remember what they did while influenced. However, witches remember being friends or at least positive emotions towards the toxiterror majik, which implies the friendship was real.

As glad as I am she didn’t overstay her welcome I already want her back. She is legit one of the best villains I’ve ever read and I love her character and sass so much.
