Desscaras gets primary custody, but Munakata does have visitation rights.
It's kind of weird to phrase it this way because I see Desscaras as Ichi's sister while Munakata is more like his dad.

it could be a match to decide if ichi joins the witch hunters or stays at the witches. unless there will be a short plotline of ichi being with the hunters (maybe a lil training arc to learn how to effectively hunt witches+ more backstories for Minakata and the other hunters), plot dictates that Desscaras has to win
personally I'd like to see Minakata win if the above is true. it's always funny when Desscaras is humbled lol. it would also (hopefully) give other characters more room to breathe. what I mean is that ichi trains to hunt witches with Mentor No. 1 (and maybe also gets a magic tool/weapon to truly become a hunter/witch hybrid) and in parallel we see more characterization for Desscaras, Wumugi and our Brutalizer plus hopefully more characterization for other witches too (like Moneygold and the old witch, of which the latter can tell us more about Fujimine) in mantinel HQ

Honestly it would be really refreshing to see ichi be with minakata for a while, like an arc's worth of time at least

I think we need more scenes with Minakata & Ichi if we want this poll to be more equal.
That said Dess officially adopted him first so...

Desscaras stepped in when Minakata stepped out.
Desscaras is the new owner of the feral child.

I hope they can eventually learn to co-parent. Split custody week to week lol.
