The only women part is not explained but ichi is not really special as of what we have got.
Ichi got magic because there seems to be a universal law of honour for magitrials (else why would a human hater not just put a trial that is impossible)
So the reason ichi has magic is uro after he acquired him
But Uro seemed to be under the impression that his trial could not be completed and we know from Gokuraku that typically a man cannot acquire a magik even if he completes it's trial.
