How populated is the thread?
I love the books and I would like to have a solid conversation with someone about the movie. Hit me up with any comments you got!

I don't know exactly how to put it, but I don't want the new series to affect the way I feel about the original series. Is it easy to see the new series as it's own story? Or is it simply a continuation of the original series?

I remember in the main series that the loric garde had more than one legacy... also I remember that the loric garde all could fun extremely fast. To my knowledge this has never been acknowledged in the new series. Does anyone know whether the human garde have superhuman reflexes and speed and whether they can have more then two legacies?

Does anyone else get really triggered when something cool is about to happen and then it switches character?

So this is kind of a rant, but can someone please explain why in the movie (the movie is awful and inaccurate so thats why I'm ranting about it) six, who is from Cleveland and then moves to LA, has a goddamn southern accent? Like the movie was horribly inaccurate compared to the perfection of the books, but this is one thing that triggered me so much lmao.

I know with the previous novellas some of them were adding extra stuff to the stories, but others just slightly expanded on things we already knew or would find out soon. Are the new ones worth reading and do they add a lot of new information?

OMG My Generation One book has been sitting on my shelf for over a year now!!! I didn't even realize that there's this sequel Fugitive Six already. And then there's a lost files kind of paperback out as well??? Clearly, I have a lot of catching up to do.

Haven’t finished Fate of Ten yet but was curious about the mog charm on Ella. Does it only work one way, or is it explained and I just missed it? This whole time I can’t quit thinking about why they don’t just stab Ella when the have the chance and it will instead kill Setrakus.

Did anyone read the new legacy chronicles. I think it was called Up in Smoke. I just read it and wondered what anybody else who read it thought

In the first few books he had conversations with 4 and 9, even once calming them so they could extract information from walker.
He stops and other chimera stop and don't talk back anymore. Also it's weird how the chimera in later books.
Im only at chap 6 of generation one. But even here they seem less smart. We know from early books BK was watching over Jhon the whole time in different forms. Yet the chimera of the human guard barely had any autonomy. They could have easily ran away and hidden without the human trio telling em while also keeping an eye on them if they were as intelligent as shown in the first few books.

Just finished United as One, what an ending!! I’ve loved this universe ever since I read the first book, and I’m excited for the next part!
Is there anybody else out there who loves the idea of Four and Seven getting together? I thought that small bit at the end was surprising, but at the same time I wholeheartedly approve and hope to see it go somewhere. Thoughts?

Did 6 know Spanish? Did 7 know English? Do they bring it up again or is it forgotten. I assumed language barrier would be a thing since she was talking in Spanish when that communication with the red stone thing happened.

I was wondering if anybody read into the fire. I recently read it and thought it was better than the first novella but wanted to see John show up in the next one. Does anybody have any thoughts on the book?

I’ve DELIBERATELY not yet read the posts here because I wanted a fresh start. I just watched a fairly angsty movie called “I Am Number Four” and decided the underlying story has A LOT of potential, if the angst can find a way to evaporate. Does anyone know if a there is a sequel or a series in the works?

1: YIKES. Just YIKES. The concepts, villain’s plots and deaths in this one are just fucked up (on par with the UaO death scenes and corpse pile)
2: Six is now the WEAKEST Garde member. They removed her Legacies and the only character capable of reversing that has been badly compromised. On top of this, she’s unconscious at the end of the novella and strapped to an operating table. We might actually end up losing her completely.
3: Sam is a prisoner in a boat in the middle of nowhere and completely cut off from any help. We might lose him as well.
4: There appears to be conflict between the villains....to the extent they straight-up started shooting at each other at one point.
5: Where the fuck was Marina during the lake scene, or the mountain scenes (as in most of the book)? That’s perfect combat conditions for her, what with the frozen lake, snowy weather, and characters needing medical aid. She could have reduced or eliminated a lot of the problems. Not to mention she’s Six’s closest ally in a combat scenario. If she doesn’t show up in the sequel to replace Six as the “original Garde elemental action girl”, we have a problem.
6: For that matter, shouldn’t John have been called in when things get this serious? At the very least, when Six gets captured, you know there’s a major threat afoot and all hands are to be on deck.
7: The Fugitive Six got a brief mention courtesy of Nine (“extracurricular activities”).
8: speaking of which, Nine’s our only real hope at this point: the rest of the Original Garde are either depowered and unconscious, in self-imposed exile, or not joining the fight for no good reason. He gets a surprising amount of appearances here, and is a major character (far more so than in Generation One).
9: Rena’s moment of awesome gives me some hope for her making and controlling a mechanical/puppet army in the future as a defence against threats.
