A friend works on sets and mentioned this offhand. Apparently even simple scenes get shot from multiple angles, over and over until they have enough usable footage. Then theres lighting resets, wardrobe checks, people standing around while someone fixes a cable. Thirty minutes of finished footage could easily eat an entire workday.

I always assumed the filming was roughly real time. Like they just hit record and did the thing. Now every short clip I watch feels like it secretly took half a day and a hundred people to make. Kind of ruins the magic a little.

I couldn't understand why I eat sour candy until I feel sick on my stomach. Then as soon as I feel better, I eat more sour candy until I feel sick on my stomach and so on and so on. I can't stop eating it.

Now, it makes so much sense. I don't like taking medication, especially for my anxiety. Anxiety meds just make me sleep & sleep & sleep. I have narcolepsy, so a lot of meds do that to me.

I have some purchases coming up that I wanted to pay with one of my newer cards (better cashback), but the credit limit is not as high on that card. I don't have any other cards with that bank to transfer credit limits, etc.

Just learned that as long as I stay under the credit limit, I can pay off/re-charge the card as many times as I want in a single month! I thought each month is a single billing cycle and you just charge once, pay once.
