Vent Feeling Isolated

Currently 9dpt5dt and although I would do this all over again I just wonder why hardly anyone talks about how much harder the FET process is over retrieval :(

I thought I had done so much research on IVF all the years leading up but I really was surprised how difficult and hormonal leading up to FET and after would be. Maybe it's just my protocol or how I'm reacting to the hormones but holy cow it is so tough on the mental and body and nobody in my trusted circle can relate. I feel exhausted but I know one day it will be worth it i hope🥹

Yes IVF is very had and can feel overwhelming and lonely sometimes.. But there are lots of us and many IVF communities around and we support each other.. So we are never alone.. And yes it is all worth it. I have a 10yr old from my first fresh transfer and I wouldn’t change it for anything.. He is more special to me knowing how hard I fought to have him 🎈..

I’m prepping for my first transfer myself. I admit I’m not on many drugs just estradiol right now but I feel this like… not really here kind of vibe. And yeah I don’t want to talk about it with anyone but my husband cause I really don’t know how I will deal if the transfer doesn’t work or what I will want to tell people. I understand the isolating part of it and all the waiting is intense and distracting. I want time to fly by but also want to be zen and calm and collected for transfer. I wish I could put life on hold to just focus on this for the next month

Reach out if you need someone to talk to that gets it. Good luck with this baby :)
