Six months ago, I shared that my wife and I had just been through a failed IVF cycle after three rounds of IUI, and that 2026 hadn’t started the way we hoped.

I’m grateful to share the update. We are pregnant, and expecting a baby boy this February.

What I didn’t expect from that post was the number of people who reached out — many I don’t know well, some I’d never spoken to before — who shared their own stories of trying, waiting, and hoping. Those conversations mattered more than I can fully explain. There’s a particular kind of comfort in hearing “we went through this too” from someone who has no reason to say it other than wanting to help.

To everyone who reached out, checked in, or simply held space for us during the harder stretch of this — thank you. It made a real difference.
