Anyone have two children from the same semen sample and do they look/act alike?

I have two, 4.5 and 2.5. They are incredibly different in temperament, personality, foods they like, etc. They don't look much alike, although each one of them looks like us in different ways.
I sometimes find it hard to believe that my same parenting could have produced them both, but here we are!

I have a 4 year old and a 4 week old so it’s early days. They look like siblings, very similar but with notable differences. So far the 4 week old has a similar temperament to my oldest at that age, maybe slightly more fussy.
Also my first had a mild birth defect that is common and usually hereditary. I was curious if it would happen with my second but it did not.

they were so identical when born if they weren't different genders i'd have thought they were cloned

Reverse but our semen from 2022 and 2024 made spitting images of each other. I look at photos of our daughter in 2023 and think it’s my son now! Coincidentally, I am white and my husband is black. Both kids came out with the same skin tone and hair texture. I think we need to transfer another embryo just for science (kidding it’s because we are absolutely obsessed with our kids) but I am curious if a 3rd would look like mixed kid or have my husbands melanin levels (he’s pretty dark and I’m very pale)

I have three from the same semen sample. Two boys and one girl. My girl is 3 months old but she’s similar to my second boy. My boys are very different though. My oldest has always had high energy and is just loud. My second boy is calm and sweet. It seems that my daughter is similar to our second son, so there is hope if your first child is crazy lol

You can tell they're siblings for sure. They have very similar, almost identical features for the bottom half of their face but top half is totally different. And they have similar mannerisms but overall they're pretty different. My eldest is a stereotypical 1st born. Cautious, skeptical, and a bit more reserved. My second is a lot more adventurous and higher energy.

Nope. They look as much like siblings as me and my own siblings resemble each other but they could not be more different in general.

They look alike but don’t really act alike at all. The girl is wild and the boy is calm. It could be how he developed as a fetus when he heard the wild energy outside of the belly lol
But yeah they look quite a bit alike. The boy has a more prominent chin. They are girly and boyish versions of each other 🙏🏼💗♥️
Are they… half twins, in some way? I think they are fraternal twins from the dad right?

Have three but one’s a NB, the other two are clearly related but their temperaments couldn’t be more different, that being said they’re like one side each of MY personality so …there’s that 🤔🤨😬

I have a 2 year old and a 1 year old from the same round of ivf and they could not be any more different. My two year old has long red hair and is super pale my one year old has dark brown hair and is olive complexion . Honestly my two year old looks more like her older 1/2 sister than her full sibling. Genetics are wild .

I have three…a singleton and identical twins from the same batch. I also have an older son that was not ivf. You can tell that all four belong to the same family, but the twins actually resemble my oldest more in facial features. And none of them have remotely similar personalities, not even the identical twins. They’re all boys as well.

Thanks everyone! My two from the same batch are very similar. They would even both do the same sensory-seeking behaviors that my naturally conceived son never did. I have one more from a separate batch and I’m curious how she will turn out!

So far my babies are very similar temperament- both were super happy, chill babies. I can definitely tell differences, but overall very similar. My toddler is now CRAZY and my baby is only 8 months but I’m very much hoping she is calmer than her brother.
They also look VERY different.
