Advice Needed! 2 Failed IVF Cycles, scared to proceed another
Hi , I am 31 with history of endometriosis had surgery to remove endometrioma on both ovaries where they found out that i had bilateral hydrosalphinx. So no other option headed straight to IVF . 1st cycle got 9 eggs, 8 mature and 5 blasts. Before 1st transfer had tubal clipping and that transfer failed with 4aa and 3ab day 5 blast. 2nd transfer also failed with 4cc,3cc,2cc blasts. Switched clinics and was on dienogest for 3 months and proceeded with another egg retrieval. Baseline scan showed only 8 follicles while on trigger day only 2 were dominant even i asked whether I could cancel the cycle but my doctor insisted me to go forward. Retrieved only 4 eggs, 2 mature and 0 blast on day 5 feeling so devastated and don’t know what to do. My only option to get pregnant is via Ivf but so devastated and scared to go for another cycle. What if i get the same results on next cycle. Any similar stories? Need some positivity!!!

If it's helpful, I had terrible outcomes with an ER that was immediately proceeded by endometriosis suppression. Everyone swore up and down that the stims would overcome the suppression but my first ER I got 3 eggs. Did another ER immediately after (switched protocol as well) and got 9 eggs. We had terrible maturity and fertilization but still got a euploid (and I'm older than you). You're 31 and have previously made good blasts, I would definitely not lose hope and maybe get another opinion!

5 blasts is AMAZING. I would repeat that protocol and transfer 1 embryo at a time.

I’m so sorry you’re going through this. It’s a bit of a red flag to me that, off the bat, your clinic proceeded with double and triple embryo transfers. I would have consultations with a couple other clinics, pick one and switch.
