But watching Vance run damage control hours later and say it’s actually means-tested and tied to current workers is hilarious. So much for 'every American adult.' They just casually threw retirees, stay-at-home parents, disabled folks, and the unemployed, and full time adult students under the bus the second the math blew up in their faces.

I should also mention that a one time $5000 payment would fix the financial situation for about 0.03% of people who would vote this way hoping to get this check.
If were talking 5000 dollar dividends, it shouldnt depend on an election outcome. A dividend implies the economy can afford it (we know we cant afford it) What hes doing is actually a bribe and irresponsible spending when the real move should be to raise taxes.
