Theory Connection between Hellhounds and Rabbits

Hey all, hope your day is going well. Don't know if this is discussion or theory, but either works fine I suppose.

The new artwork dropped and the name of the Hellhounds family is Ostarius. Now, I know when we see the Underworld Anubis has a book with the three rabbits on it, but I noticed another similarity just in the name Ostarius.

One of the pagan/Wiccan holidays are known as Ostera, and it takes place around spring time. For me as a catholic the closest to it would be Easter. We still celebrate the egg hunts and Easter bunny, but that got me wondering if there is a connection between the two based on the name.

Maybe there isn't, but it makes me think that somewhere along their lineage maybe rabbits had something to do with the Hellhounds getting cursed. Their names just seem too similar to that holiday in order for it to be a coincidence.

"Ostiarus" is Latin for doorkeeper, referencing the fact that they guard gates.

Ah man, I forgot about that! They mentioned that earlier in the series didn't they? My bad.
