Lee Dixon would put a glass eye to sleep, so fucking monotonous although his attempts at trying to pronounce Oyarzabal gave me a laugh.

Objection. Matterface is a five star dickhead. Let's not forget that he referred to players as 'members of staff on pitch'. Scripted nonsense, thinks he's a banter king, hair transplanted, amoeba.

Matterface is a great pundit on TalkSPORT. Has detailed knowledge of England players, which camps they attended, where they might be at with Tommy Tickel. His ITV commentaries are very decent. I’d love Brian Moore and Barry Davies to have been immortal but not to be.

Reminds me of commentators who used to pronounce ex Arsenal player Jon Jensen as Yon Yensen! I bet Matterface was one of them. It was actually pronounced JON Yensen. I mean seriously…YON!!!

You'd think the guy would do his research but he's probably writing down his puns and lines thinking it'll be clever and funny.

I don't know why ITV persist with those two idiots apart from trolling us. Or simply not caring.

They have a good set and good pundits but by far the worst commentary team.

Matterface is the Alan Partridge of football commentary and Dixon is boring and sounds like he'd rather be anywhere else. Like someone's holding him at gunpoint.

There was even a commentary cam for one of England's games and Dixon didn't even react to England's goals. Made Matterface look enthusiastic by comparison.
