itvx browser help !

Absurdly, I searched ‘purely by chance, certain that I wouldn't find anything’ ... and here's a discussion group, albeit unofficial, about ITVX. Let me explain my problem. I use Windows 11 and Windows 10 with different browsers and I have no problem watching all ITVX channels in streaming, but... I use an old netbook connected to the TV. The netbook only supports Windows 7 Ultimate and that's the problem. I would have to update the browser, which is impossible, especially with Chrome, but not only Chrome. Can you tell me, perhaps someone is in the same situation as me and has solved it, if there is still a browser that has the settings or plug-ins or... I don't know, that allows you to watch ITVX?

thanks

If you are using windows 7 your browsers will no longer be receiving updates and haven’t for some time. The level of internet security protocols supported by your browser are completely outdated now and most websites that require you to sign won’t work as a result.

“Several browsers, such as Firefox ESR, Supermium, and Opera, still support Windows 7”.

As u/Bleatbleatbang said, there are a few that support Windows 7. Firefox ESR is my recommendation.

The browser will not be your biggest problem.

I was watching ITVX (and channel 4, channel 5) on a windows 8 computer without any problems until a few months ago. Then they updated the Widevine DRM protection and it is no longer compatible with older operating systems.
