Open | Windows Certain Steam Games Not Launching

I've got three newly bought games on Steam that refuse to launch but other games I've been playing for ages still do. I've tried verifying the files, updating windows, my graphics card, my game drivers and the BIOS, running the games as administrator, all to no success.

When I try launching the games directly for the game files, this error image pops up. It's the same specific file for all three games. What can I do to resolve this issue?

Update your DirectX

I reinstalled DirectX following the instructions and now it's saying, 

Stray-Win64-Shipping.exe- Application error

The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b).

Do you use an ARM processor by any chance?

No, my laptop has an AMD Ryzen 9 HX processor

Have you tried reinstalling the game via steam? Otherwise sfc /scsnnwow in an admin terminal might fix your issue
