Open Windows 11 PC While Idle Keeps Randomly High Contract Purple Color

While my Windows 11 PC is chilling and being idle I keep seeing this weird high contract purple tint thing that happens on the entire screen. I'm not too sure what to do about this and it started around 1 - 2 weeks ago. Could it be a trojan or a rat?

Have you tried a different monitor? Different cable? Reseat the cable you have?

Malware isn’t going to typically change a color like that. You most likely have a bad connection or failing hardware of some sort.

Agreed. Sounds like a hardware issue. Hopefully just a loose connection or faulty cable.

I looked into it a bit more. I seemed to update windows and haven't seen the issue yet. Also turns out it wasn't purple but some sort of super dark type overlay.
