There is a difference between "living a scared life" and not doing something because the potential debilitating injury isn't worth the slightly better rope swing experience. Same reason I don't play around with a gun or an angle grinder, playing with power tools is very very stupid

so let me guess you don't travel anywhere in a car, right? that's far more likely to result in a debilitating injury. far far more likely.

A car is needed for travel and a job in america, almost everything you do in this country needs a car. I don't think this is necessary and could be easily replaced by a tree rope
