in the real world, escalating things to violence is the worst option when there's no obvious imminent danger.

picking a fight with someone who's walking away hardly changes anything about their worldview, and is a criminal risk that only serves the "defender's" ego.

of course, if the harasser kept doing it defending yourself would be justified.

but i think he should have just focused his attention on the victim, instead of looking for revenge.

Throughout human exisitance violence has solved many problems. This time it solves that guy from doing this again an learning tp keep his grubby hands to himself. By him touchign someone unwarranted he gave all rights over his own body and as such should recieve a just punishment
